this show, this bloody show, may be the best comedy on tv right now. Serious 10/10 stuff throughout.

Such a brilliant cast. Loved the episode even though I missed the first 5 minute because of Eli's super-fail.

Loren Bouchard was on WTF few eps ago. Really great interview and as a fan of Home Movies, found it very insightful. Haven't seen Bob's Burgers though but seems I need to.

Fans of H. Jon Benjamin-starring cult cartoons will get the secret wish they didn't even know they'd made to themselves in the upcoming fourth season of Archer, when the Benjamin-voiced super-spy will meet the very-similarly-Benjamin-voiced subject of Bob's Burgers, and everyone will get to hear Jon Benjamin talk to himself on the TV. According to an interview with Benjamin over at Entertainment Weekly, the already-recorded episode—which, like the rest of Archer's fourth season, doesn't have a set premiere date yet—will have a "Bourne Identity-type plotline" with an amnesiac Archer working the Bob's Burgers counter, until his true identity is awakened by an encounter with a group of thugs. The collision of the shows' now-shared universes will also include appearances from Bob's wife Linda (but not the kids), and visually it will be " “Archer-style animation, but with all the accoutrements and characteristics of the [Bob’s] characters." Unfortunately the nexus of the H. Jon Benjaminverse will not also feature cameos from Home Movies' Coach McGuirk or Dr. Katz's Ben, so you'll just have to draw those characters on your TV screen yourself.
Bit of a nitpick on the article, but people got to hear Benjamin talk to himself on TV for 4 seasons on Home Movies whenever coach McGurk talked to Jason.

Such an awesome episode. Great to see BB back.

The "those two were a piece of cake, that one, well he was an entire cake" was such a smart joke.

Just watched this and followed it by watching Family Guy

There just isn't any comparison. BB is roughly 479479375947 times more amusing than Family Guy.

The jokes start from minute one and don't let up the entire episode, and it isnt as though you are overwhelmed by them

On Family guy you have pukesicle, jock jams, and that really dark Vegas joke where Stewie kills a showgirl in a bathtub ------> Funny?

Bobs Burgers comes through in spades and makes it so that my three favorite shows now have BB as their initials.

Can't think of what the third might be. Beavis and Butt-head? Is the return of that still on the air?

McGuirk and Jason were almost never, and possibly never at all, in scenes together for this exact reason, because the actors for Home Movies recorded their dialogue together (like Bob's Burgers and unlike Archer). In fact, there are times when McGuirk is talking to Brendon or Melissa and he refers to Jason in a way that suggests he doesn't even know who he is.
