No. But everything can't be a mystery. In the last three shows they've introduced 6 new story lines that we know nothing about. They can't keep them all open and advance the narrative. Alda is definitely long-term and we'll find out what is going on with Meera next episode (at least what they want us to believe). But for all the others they will need give us at least a little bit in the nest few episodes. You can't have everything be a mystery and expect people to stay with it.

Okay, so I'm officially caught up on all the episodes. Watched eps 8-13 first then 1-7. He's her dad right? and the Tom stuff better be over soon because it's really annoying.

Not been posting about it, but been watching the show since it started and have been enjoying it a lot.

The show could potentially reach too far, but I think its building up nicely.

Tom is a whiny little bitch of a character who thinks his FBI wife should be
able to just leave her job any time he wants her to and to come home to him.

I'm kinda losing interest in the show. Gonna have to watch the last two episodes again.

I also hate tom.

He better turn out to be some secret triple bluff deep cover agent or itll be awful. Either way Keen is being driven into the arms of matt damons brother at some point.

Tom turning out to be her crazy brother would make this show #1

This + the fact it's not going to be on again for 3 weeks is also putting me in the losing interest column.

I still think this show is quite entertaining. As bad as Spader was in The Office he is equally great here. The mole was The FBI Director, probably passing off info to Alda, who in turn tried to have Red killed (I think a conversation bore this out, but I don't remember for sure anymore since that was like 5 or 6 weeks ago). I think the show is really good at playing with the conventions of the genre, and plays like a real bad ass type action movie with the choices they make (like the glory days Arnold movies like Commando). The whole "interrogation" of the FBI Director ending with Red non-fatally shooting her, her then teasing him with the answer so he wouldn't kill her, him saying he wanted to know the answer (but not from her), and ultimately shooting her was great. I also love the casting choice of the cleaner.

Tom storyline is confirmed dumb, and it looks like it's almost over. Red knows how to push all of Lizzie's buttons. I still think she might be a separated twin given up for adoption, but who knows? It really is a back seat to the regular show, and I don't think it matters that much if it's paid off (though I expect it to be at some point this season). It's just a nice hour of leave your head at the door entertainment. There isn't a single believable thing about it.

And that has never bothered me in the past.
What you wrote here is gonna allow me to enjoy this show more I think.

I still think Tom is a lousy character.
The scene with them putting diapers on dolls and tasting baby food was excruciating.

Tom's new girlfriend is kinda hot though.

They've hit us over the head enough times that there is more to him than we've seen so far that there has got to be something more than what we see. They're going to have to come through with at least a little bit soon though.

Why are they taking 3 weeks off? Hadn't it only been back for a few weeks since the last break?

It's not 100% that Red's her dad and prob less likely than so. My guess is something Red did lead to the death of her family in that house. Im thinking either he's an uncle or family friend or her parents were an asset or client.

There are a ton of glaring plot holes they use bad writing to create and fix but for a network TV show it's pretty good. If youre gonna nitpick every small one I suggest you not watch the show. Red is a top notch character and I find most of the blacklist criminals interesting. They do seem to be making lots of new storylines without resolving old ones but Id give the show at least a season and maybe another half before that becomes too much of an issue.

The bf is really annoying and they do seem to be milking the mystery about him a bit too much. I think maybe he's on the level but it's Red setting him up because he knows Liz cant live a happy family life given her job and wants to break up her family before it gets too serious and that much more painful when it's eventually broken up. If she Red's daughter/niece or family friend and he or her parents being in the life lead to that tragedy that could give more reason to why Red would go to these lengths.

If you didn't notice, two actors from the Homeland are in the show. Amir Arison is the other.
