So good! Chilling. It's more horror/drama than anything else. I've never seen anything like this, it's so ambitious, and it really pulls it off. At the end of the episodes you're sat there thinking 'well...****..' it mimics the 1984/Brave New World feeling of utter despair and helplessness. I loved it. - Only heard about it via this thread, what else should i be watching?

For stuff from the UK Utopia is hard to beat. It's been canned after 2 seasons for poor ratings but it's utterly brilliant.

There is also a US version in the pipeline, which I'll definitely be checking out.

I'm surprised there aren't a few more shows like this. I remember watching the old sci/fi horror channels and they did a lot of these types of shows in the 80's.

Great episode, I guess. I can see this being one of the polarizing ones like White Bear.

The cookie seemed to be just a pure copy so it lives on if the real person died.

The cops just left him there for millions of years cos they are basically dicks.

Concept and execution were so good, I guessed the kid was half Asian pretty soon into the story but softening the reveal didn't diminish the ep. The most interesting part to me is that a digital copy can confess for the real person and they can compel a suspect to undergo brain surgery twice to get the cookie which can then incriminate him, its a twist that I think the show kinda buried.

I liked it a lot. Loved the little references to previous episodes like the karaoke song and the guy flicking past the pop idol type show when channel surfing. It did kind if feel like 3 episodes condensed into one, the PUA social media ep the 'is it torture if they're not quite human beings' ep and the blocking/obsession ep. They flowed together pretty well though.

I am half in that mind but also I would rather have quality over quantity. I would bet they will have another set of eps next year though. I assume Brooker has been busy doing the end of year wipe and this special but we are due a third season I reckon.

Christmas episode was brilliant, imo. i pretty much knew what was happening at a point - i won't go further or spoil anything, but it was still great.
