Big Brother Canada was put on hiatus earlier this week, and will not return in 2018.

There is a movement on social media to get it back for 2019.

Seems that it's very cheap to produce (like the US and every other international version), hard to imagine there's not a time slot where it's not profitable.

I just watched the first 2 hours of season 6.

A good start so far. BTW, so many of the houseguests look like previous year people. They must specifically cast for that type of look.

I really like how they designed this season's house. Nicely done.

I thought the first two were pretty boring. The cast seems subpar, but at least they got out the worst person first

It's painful to see what they did to Kirsten, who is a huge fan.

I'm likely suffering from recency bias (by forgetting some previous seasons) but this cast is, ahem, one of the best looking casts in recent memory. Women and the dudes. And way better looking than many recent USA BB seasons. For all the talk of how gorgeous the Survivor S36 cast is (deservedly so), this BBCAN6 house is up there too.

(not to mention the first two boots, having been removed, now raise the house's average hotness level considerably)

I'm enjoying the season. I think all the warm clothes and sweatpants being worn hurts the "hotness" factor. But I do like how at least half house seems to be willing to actually play the game and kind-of strategize. LOL at the house alliances dividing into red bedroom vs white bedroom.

The amount of showmances and flirting seems below an average BB season. (maybe it's just edited out)

I like how the alliances of the white bedroom vs the red bedroom have formed. It's kind-of like the separate tribes on Survivor.

I'm also a fan of the way the underdog red bedroom has won all the HoH's... lolol

That still doesn't mitigate the fact that the red bedroom is full of idiots (e.g. Hamza).
