Pete you know by now that this is not Jokers or Sucks. We care about discussing aspects of strategic and social gameplay not whether someone is a nice person. As far as BB15 is concerned we were frustrated a twist involving a popularity contest favoured Elissa every single week that had nothing to do with the game. It made HOH meaningless besides one week of safety because MVP could just backdoor whoever wasn't immune, by the time jury had started anyone who could have made the season more interesting had gone. It's the same old story for any season Grodner was in charge of, it's annoying to have players who basically are inferior at the game be rewarded for it. As awful as Aaryn was, her still being in the house was one of few reasons that it was still watchable just for her exit interview or to see what CBS would have done if she got anywhere near the end. Once she left we got the inevitable suckfest.

I have watched many seasons of BB. Production/"the powers that be", always stack the deck and lean comps toward certain competitors or introduce Diamond power of vetos and other crazy stuff. BUT this season has been ridiculous from front to back.

1. The major disadvantage of the player of the 3 to be voted into the house like 2 weeks late and the threat of eviction if anyone finds out. That is a lot of pressure to not let it slip when on the beers or something PLUS alliances were already formed, they were destined to be the odd man out.

2. Letting Ika do her soliloquay bashing all the houseguests and shredding their letters from home and letting all the houseguests see and here her! They gave her no chance of avoiding eviction after this. Period. Production decided it was time for her to go and she was gone.

3. The instant eviction with no POV to boot Allison. In BB there should always be a POV. After all that gameplay, you should have at least one moment with your fate in your own hands. Builds drama and gives a lone player vs. an alliance of 5 a chance to make it to final two which builds a nice story arc for the viewers.

Agree on (1). I don't really get the point of the twist versus just casting Allison or one of the other two from the start. Perhaps though Allison missed some sort of opportunity to leverage info she got while in the war room that would have offset the disadvantages of entering the house late.

I really don't think the Ika twist was that big of a deal. A) Ika was already toast at that point, and B) Ika should have known better and anticipated that the other HGs were watching. So I think this was just really bad gameplay, not a bad twist.

Re: 3, I agree it is patently unfair to have an eviction without giving the nominees any chance to play POV. It is a slippery slope though as this statement can also be applied to backdooring, which I don't really have a problem with.

Serious run bad for Neda with these comp outcomes lately.

Eviction and HoH spoiler in tags:
Spoiler:
Adel was evicted by a 2-0 vote. Sabrina is the current HoH. Really hoping the jury isn't bitter. I'd be satisfied with any of Jon/Neda/Heather winning (each either played the comps well or played the strategic and social game well). Sabrina has done of 0 of those 3. I can always live with a strategically inept comp-beast winning if they get there, but Natalie White/Sandra winners infuriate me.

I haven't watched the last 2 episodes yet but wouldn't this be good for Neda?
Spoiler:
Neda and Jon go up. Heather votes to keep Neda. Jon's gone without blood on her hands. She can then go to the final without Jon as she wanted?

From what I've noticed on the feeds, Heather and Jon seem to be comparing notes re: Neda. I would definitely like to see current DR footage of exactly where their heads are at, but I could definitely see Jon cutting her.

Jon won the PoV. Heather seems to have accepted that she's going. Neda runs bad there, for sure. Feeds are off for the season.

if Jon was smart he'd vote out Neda. Much easier path for him to the finals, he already knows Neda is really smart

Since this is the first season of any Big Brother I've ever seen I'm not really sure how the final works.

What I do know or expect

Neda is guaranteed final 2

Neda will keep Sabrina
Sabrina will keep Neda
Jon will keep Neda

Neda or Jon would beat Sabrina
I'd say Neda vs Jon could come down to Canada's vote and I'd say Jon would win. I'm not sure how right I am on that part or how close it be.

well you are right with the neda situation.. i mean honestly john needs get rid of her, but he seems so emotionally attached to his "BFF" i feel sabrina really only gets one vote from jury -rachelle. all the other people seem to be pretty decent n smart, and know john deserve it.

Meh season. Not bad, but meh. I was very glad to see Jon vote out Neda.

But lol... They really hadn't prepared the jury well enough. They were blatantly telling us that Jon won before the votes were revealed.

Pretty disappointed Neda didn't win. Would have loved to have seen what would have happened if it was her and Jon at the end. Also anyone know if they said if Jon or Neda had more votes from Canada?

How do the votes go for Jon and Neda? Arlie, Adele, and Heather vote for Neda. Allison, Rochelle and Sabrina I am not sure. I think at least one if not all of them go Neda but they could all very easily be Jon votes and then it comes down to Canada. Can't help but feel ripped off. Granted, Neither Neda or Jon were taking each other as it turns out but that really would have capped off a great season.

Dan Gheesling, when speaking to the jury: "I've experienced two juries - a critical jury and a bitter jury." Dude, let it go. We get that you think you should have beat Ian. Tons of folks still rank you as one of the top 2 players ever, but comments like this (and the Andy-bashing last summer) will just lose you respect at this point in time.

Canada is 2 for 2 in creating good BB seasons. Each season is probably in the top 5 or 6 for BB US/Canada combined.

Jon is a very good, very deserving winner, but I feel a little dissatisfied and would have preferred to see a Neda win. Still though I think both Neda and Jon played flawless games, but competitions matter, so I can't fault Jon.

What could Neda have done differently? The only idea I have is she swaps Alison for Jon in the instant eviction, but I don't think Neda can trust Allison to work with her, so I don't see that as an option.

I think Jon, Neda, and Emmett from S1 are all in my BB top 10 all time players. Jon is probably like the 6th or 7th best winner.

Jon is a very good winner, no doubt. However, I really see him as like the Canadian Jason Guy. I don't know that he's strategically brilliant, more-so just naturally likable. I'd rank him around where Jason is on the all-time list: mid-teens.

Also:
Spoiler:
Never. Runs. Bad.
