Decided to take everyone's suggestion and go for season 10 next. Had a momentary brain fart and rather than go right to the guy who uploads the seasons Youtube page, I Youtube searched for s10. First link says the winner in the description. Still gunna watch it, but I'm mega tilted that I now have to go through 29 episodes already knowing the winner.

Well I don't if what you're saying is true or you're just saying that so that I doubt if **that player** actually won (which I guess is just as good as never knowing), but either way I appreciate it. I got through the 1st week (wow you guys weren't kidding about the drama) and couldn't fathom **that player** making it all the way through after the events of week 1.
BB is by far the most addictive reality gameshow there is imo. It's really not healthy how many episodes I've watched this weekend.
Edit: now (fake) spoiler free

i agree. being intelligent and crafty doesn't automatically translate to being good at BB, which is very much a social game. i don't get it when people say "if brian didn't overplay/have fps/expose his huge ego in the first week, he could've been really good!" so in other words if he had a different personality and a different approach to the game, he could've been a great player. yep definitely almost GOAT material

Re: Big Brother 13
Is the Brian you're referring to the super geeky Brian from last year (might've been 2 years ago)?

Re: Big Brother 13
They are talking season 10 Brian. I wouldn't exactly call him geeky.

Re: Big Brother 13
I think you're confusing him with Ronnie, who also heavily overplayed early on and paid the price for it.

Youtube while grinding (RIP online poker) had me going through a season every two or three days. The show is massively addicting and seasons still hold up even on the fifth or sixth time through watching.

Re: Big Brother 13
Has anyone ever answered yes to the question "Would you do anything differently" right after they got evicted?

Re: Big Brother 13
On that note, I've always wondered why HoHs give the stock 'guys I love you all and this was really hard for me since you're all such great people etc.' nomination speeches, given that nobody believes them or appreciates them.

Re: Big Brother 13
My favorite was Season 11? I think, in which every time two people were on the block, one person would inevitably say "Just do whats best for you and vote whichever way is best for YOUR game" and that person was voted off something like 95% of the time, and yet every eviction ceremony, one of the two would continue making this asinine speech.

Re: Big Brother 13
For those asking why they haven't released a cast list yet, I know the case on other reality gameshows is that they don't release the list until all contestants are in sequester. This is so none of the contestants can make deals/form alliances before meeting each other (facebook, etc.). Simply put, they want the 1st meeting to be organic.
Furthermore, I know several shows don't even finalize the cast list literally until the day taping begins. For instance, I know on The Bachelor even though 25 girls make the show, they supposedly fly at least 30 girls to Los Angeles right before taping and make last second changes to the cast, even if they already promised all of them that they would be on the show. I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't do something similar on BB.

God I hope its an allstar season. The only reason I watch this show is because of chilltown.

Re: Big Brother 13
Basically every season starts with Julie saying something along the lines of "we surprised this year's houseguests with their keys just days ago." It's entirely possible that the people who have been cast don't even know they're definitely on the show yet.
edit: the first eviction is usually day ~12, which would be the live episode on the 7/14, so they move into the house sometime around 7/2.
