we already know literally all of that about kim. she may enjoy the thrill of hustling marks with jimmy, but at the end of the day, she wants to be a professional who plays by the rules when it comes to her career. pointless, redundant, time wasting scene

Nah, the document that was tampered with was the HHM one. This is a new report that Kim is creating for her private firm, there's no correlation between the two.

Kim already knows the HHM document was tampered though. At least, she knows Jimmy did 'something' but refuses to be told exactly what as to not incriminate herself.

People itt seem very confused. Not every scene in a novel or film has to drive the plot forward. In fact, art that ascribes to this rule is often terrible. Storytelling is about mood and emotion. The best of it often spends more time setting up the emotional tension than in delivering plot progression. Look at the films of the French new wave or Terrance Malick.

The typewriter scene was a perfectly written mood piece. It forces us to wonder if it's tied to Jimmie's tampering. Is she going to find something? Why does she keep going back? It makes us engage with th subtleties of her character.

If you were a fan of BB or the first two seasons of BCS you should realize by now that Gilligan is not making Law and Order. He is intersted in the cinematic aspects of television. He is not making TV that can be watched while cooking dinner and playing on your iPad.

He demands your attention.

Not pinnacle like BB/Wire/Sopranos/Mad Men
This is just silly. After just 2 seasons of BB, it wouldn't have been considered part of the latter group either. You're judging a show that's still building to its climax and hasn't had the inevitable payoff to all of its exposition yet, and ranking it against shows that are fully completed works. It's way too early to make those kind of comparisons. It's already an outstanding show and has elite potential, especially considering the track record of its creators. Where it ultimately ranks historically against the GOATs remains to be seen.

I fell in love with BB from the pilot. I thought it was outstanding from the jump. I just don't feel that way about BTS. I like it, and I enjoy it, but the pacing is faaaaar slower than where BB started.

I get it, it's a slow burn show, but god damn it's a reeeeal slooooow buuuuurn.

I don't ever remember BB being like this even in the early seasons. season 2 had the Tuco kidnapping, the classic Saul introduction, Gus joins the show, the Jane death scene - the show was in total full swing by then.

Whilst I am inclined to agree that this oeuvre demands one's attention, I do feel it borders on insisting upon itself. Or perhaps one should phrase this criticism more in the words of Emperor Joseph II, as there are, at times, simply too many notes.

Same here, I liked BB from the start and could not stop watching.

I have a different point of view from most of you as I actually tried watching BCS before I had ever seen BB, and I thought the show was pretty boring and didn't understand what was going on or the hype about it, and quit watching after the first 2-3 episodes.

After learning it was related to BB I watched BB, loved it, and now I love BCS. BB makes this a great show, I'm not sure if it would turn into a good show on it's own without already knowing the characters and who they turn into or not.

I consider BCS the best show on TV right now other than maybe GoT but that isn't on right now. I'm not sure if the haters have ever seen BB or not.

This is a grate post.

BCS is miles better than lolGoT. Neck and neck with Rick and Morty for the best current show imo.

no, rick and morty is leaps and bounds ahead of everything

Maybe start with Blue's Clues and work your way up to BCS? It's hard to take your criticism seriously if either of those two posts is true.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but above is a perfectly reasonable explanation.

I have a couple of questions I'm too lazy to look up. I'm hoping these are easy for those who rewatched last season.

1. What is the exact reason why Mike wanted to kill Gus.

2. Jimmy asks Ernesto why he lied and told Chuck he called Jimmy. What did Ernesto say in response.

1. Gus has never been mentioned on BCS yet, and even on BB Mike never wanted to kill Gus. What are you talking about?

2. He basically said he was friends with Jimmy and watching out for him.

Sorry, I meant Hector. Why exactly did he want to kill Hector?
04-15-2017 , 10:02 PM
Why did Gus want to kill Hector? You need to watch BB episode "Hermonos"
04-15-2017 , 10:07 PM

You really should watch the whole episode but this will get you there in 2.5 minutes.

No, why did Mike want to kill hector at the end of BCS season 2?

I just remember some sort of meeting between Mike and Nacho, but not what they talked about.

He was trying to get Hector thrown in prison even after everything was settled so he still thought the cartel was a threat to his family. In the meeting with Nacho he learns his plan failed because a random person found the driver instead of the cops so he decided to kill Hector.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for.

I think the fact the good Samaritan was killed also played a big part into why he decided to cross the line to murder.
