I wonder why they couldn't just tip someone off with an anonymous phone call.

This is true but it was still a dumb Rube Goldbergian scene.

It was pretty clear to me that Jimmy started just playing... but his natural skills and affinity for the con job had kicked in. Obv he'll have difficulty re-sealing that crack.
I got the vibe that the ******* also reminded him of how he had been treated by his brother lately

his crying seemed fake as hell at some point. maybe not at first, I would need to rewatch. but I def remember thinking the crying seemed fake.

I agree, but there was more: he was really angry, and looking to lash out/hurt someone, anyone. But only someone who deserved it, a real jerk.

He finally settled on Chuck, just as the anger spiked again. He didn't have Kim there to talk him down that time, and he unloaded with both barrels.

At the time I watched I assumed the Chuck****ing was spur-of-the-moment but I suppose it's reasonable to conclude that it was pre-planned. Chuck (at least in Jimmy's eyes) is the reason Jimmy's professional life is in utter turmoil.

In my opinion, it's an act. Much like when Walter broke down in Hank's office to place a bug.

Not sure it's important if it was planned or not. We may never know for sure.

Kinda like is Gus gay? Does it matter?
Yeah I'm gonna go with the guy that wrote the episode

Apparently Spain gave the middle finger to the US and said "we don't care if you have a holiday and don't want to show it, we're showing it anyway!"

The show is scheduled to continue airing in Spain a week ahead of the US.

Never heard of this guy. Crooked lawyer with wacky tv commercials, and an office decorated with miniature Statue of Liberty? Now he vanishes before sentencing?

Check the Cinnabons!
