"School bus for six-year-old pimps" best line of the episode, though.

They're not married and there are no kids. I'd be pretty upset if she pulled the whole "married couples don't have to testify against each other" card though.

Squat cobbler. That's hilarious.

Jimmy is realizing he can be a conman and a lawyer at the same time.

Kim said "we" should get a smoker. But I don't see her and Jimmy together much longer.

Before this season started, I didn't expect to hear much of the Sandpiper case. I figured it was basically over and the show would move on. Instead, it looks like it will be a regular part of the show for quite some time.

That only convinces me more that Cinnabon Saul could be getting his Sandpiper payout in a later season as a way of bringing some cast members back together.

Yeah, this..?

Also, writers are doing a great job making the audience hate Chuck. So glad Jimmy took that phone call right in front of him.

I thought Nacho said the car was going to the chop shop so I don't think it really matters if it's a lease or not. Mike told the the baseball card guy getting his cards back was going to cost him big time.

In be4 Pryce reports the H2 as stolen and calls the cops.

Episode 2 was a bit of a letdown for me.

Part of my problem is that I'm so out of touch with watching TV the old school way (with commercials!) that it really tilts me now when I'm watching something live. I'll give the episode another look tonight and see how it grabs me.

A few thoughts:

1) Why are we calling him "Pryce" when his name has been stated as Dan Wormold (?). I must have missed something. Is Pryce the alias he gives at some point during the drug deals?

2) It seemed odd that Jimmy would sit there and let Pryce yammer on and on in front of the cops. The less that guy talks, the better. Plus, Jimmy obviously loves to talk, so I would have thought he'd tell Pryce to keep his mouth shut and let Jimmy handle it.

3) I found the Cobbler stuff mildly humorous, but mostly weird and awkward.

4) Pryce gets his baseball cards back, Mike pockets the $10k (or some portion), Nacho gets to keep all the pills and money he stole as well as the Hummer?

5) Chuck says he's back in the office "to bear witness." I interpreted that as him saying he wants to watch Jimmy fail as a lawyer, which seems awfully spiteful. Wasn't cockblocking him from joining HHM enough?

6) Back to the Cobbler...is it really necessary to go to that length? A hiding place in a wall does not equal illegal activity. It doesn't seem like the burden would be on Pryce to prove anything. "My baseball cards were stolen, I hired a private investigator, I recovered my cards...end of story." If the cops want to know what was in the wall, I would think you could essentially tell them to go F themselves. No one else involved in the drug deals is going to implicate you, because doing so would only implicate themselves.

Love the show; just wasn't one of my favorite episodes.

For some reason, I heard it as 60. Neither makes sense to me, but it's a funny line.

How much does that hummer cost? And how much is it worth at a chop shop?

Based on your issues with the episode I think you a) are so used to nit-picking a show on the internet that you can't enjoy entertainment anymore, b) BCS is just not your cup of tea, or c) you simply weren't paying any sort of attention.

Yes, Price (or Pryce) is an alias. The only half-way intelligent thing the guy did was not use his real name in the drug deal.

Letting Dan squirm made it more believable that the guy had something embarrassing to hide. As odd as the pie story was to the cops, it would have looked weirder if Jimmy just came in and said, "Guys, my client was hiding fetish videos, nothing to see here."

That, or Jimmy was simply enjoying watching his new client sweat.

Guess it's just not your sense of humor. And yes, it was weird and awkward for the characters. That's part of the point.

Yes, it does seem awfully spiteful. More development of Chuck as a ****ty brother.

There's no way the police would have left Dan/Price alone, simply accepting the "oh, btw, I got my cards back, it's all good," story. I mean, hell, you can see they weren't backing down and Dan/Price was likely going to crack. I'm not a lawyer, but the cops seemed to have plenty of reason to pursue the issue further: expensive "look at me, I'm a drug dealer" car for a nothing IT guy, house targeted for no apparent reason, hiding spot behind the wall, the fact that Dan/Price mentioned he had a bunch of cash stolen then quickly changed the subject, etc. Jimmy had to come up with a reason why his client would be so nervous, so uncomfortable, so secretive, that he didn't want police involvement anymore. It's a bit far-fetched, but that's part of the comedy.

Liked the episode overall and love the show but I didn't buy this part either. The police have some vague suspicions. Big deal. The idea that they wouldn't have a million better things to do than go after this card guy lacked credibility for me. I understand they wanted to showcase Saul starting to emerge from the Jimmy cocoon but this didn't seem like a good way to do it.
