Omfg. Confirmed best season yet. There was nothing less than perfect in that ep.

Don't even need to wait for the finale to know how awesome is going to be.

The Job and Hood background stuff was especially good.

Caught up with the show just in time to be tortured one week for the S3 finale .

S3 has been fantastic, really a step up from S1 and S2 though all 3 seasons have been good. The nazi cop is so ridiculously badass even for this show its standards, hopefully he'll help kick some ass in the finale.

(I haven't seen any promos for the finale so I am just guessing) Is it just me or are they hinting at Job dying in the finale? They really made a big deal of Hood's **** up and they even gave him a flashback (was weirded out a bit by them putting the twin towers in the background)... It would show major balls but Job is too awesome to kill off imo .

what a great ep. usually not a huge fan of flashbacks but this episode was solid start to finish.

I think Job is too important and they can't afford to lose him going into the Dalton* storyline next season. Fwiw I put Anna/Carrie ahead of Sugar though.

That was a fantastic episode in a fantastic season. I can't remember having as much fun watching a tv series as I have watching season 3 of Banshee. Yes, it isn't Deadwood or Breaking Bad but on a pure fun basis this show is second to none.

I think Job is too important as comedy relief and breaking up the dark portions of the show to get killed off, same with Sugar. Well I am hoping at least, as I love the banter between the two.

For instance, a little thing like in this episode when Sugar was cleaning the bar and Job said he needed a grenade and then proceeded to spray Job with the cleaner. I just love that stuff.

Anyway, I can't wait for next week. I suppose they're going to pull off some kind of double action sequence that will blow our minds. Between Proctor's crew and Hood's mayhem, I wonder which part will push the boundaries of craziness further.

In thinking in terms of longevity for the show, I'm thinking a major death has to happen in the finale, and that will be Carrie.

They just killed 2 female leads so I figured she's safe.

Yeah that's my thinking as well, but if any show is going to go against that kind of logic it's Banshee.

If Gordon goes on the raid it's between him and Sugar. I think the show needs Job to much, which means it's probably him. Hell I don't know, other than its not Carrie, even my wife said they can't kill another female lead. Which means she maybe toast.....lol I don't know and don't care I am just going to enjoy it either way.

Carrie dying would drive forward a bunch of stories. I dont think any other death actually adds anything. Sugar would be easy and Gordon easier. The show is very happy to do the hard thing for a good payoff.

Damn finale has me here waiting for more damn show doesn't start til January?

That was crazy squared. The cliff hanger was a kick in the groin, **** nine months to find out what happened.

As all things Banshee, I loved it.

wow. Im almost first to comment, this is absolutely insane, we now know why hood is such a badass, no measly military - he is ****ing treadstone jason bourne stuff before Job pulled him out. Loved the flashbacks, Job´s value as a hacker is understandable, they are having him set as the worlds best hacker living today whom isnt chinese by nationality, which makes him invaluable to US military. Going to get Job back is gonna be a pickle to say the least, is he going to partner upp with Kai? Is he going to kill off everyone in charge assassination style before they give him job back?

Gordon dying was a shame, now we do not know whats gonna happen with the kids, are they gonna be coming along? Carrie out of the next season being supermom? Bunker and the nazis are a wierd sideplot going into the next season as we are not necessarily staying in banshee anymore, but then again, we probably are since they developed that one. Hood is going to be a pedestrian, maybe doing some gigs for Kai(the look on Kais face told me he saw opportunities in hood now, not just kill of a guy like that for some personal grudge where he´d do the same in the end, as he kindly noted) while trying to figure out where Job is and simuntaneously kill off the brotherhood or something.

Idk, this show is up there with Game Of Thrones of anticipation for next seasons... gonna be a pain to wait.
edit; oh yeah, Gordon really showed some badass stuff in the last two episodes, the fighting and the gunslinging hah!

my guess is he is gonna reconnect with his old treadstone buddys to find Job and then either goes WW3 on the CIA or makes a deal with them to free him (bourne notice style (ucwidt?))

Awesome finale. Sucks that Gordon got killed just when he started bringing the awesome, but otherwise he'd have ended up having to join the gang, which woulda been kinda dumb.

just Gobsmacked at how good this show is.

Endless possibilities for next season, but really hope he doesn't go back to playing Sheriff.

great finale, kinda underwhelming though imo but that's because this season has been so ridiculously awesome I had insane expectations. Job slitting the throat and Gordon and Holt assaulting the base was awesome tho.

My guess for next season is going to be that Job will be missing for a few episodes and first few episodes will be Holt/Kai related and nazi related plots. Then Holt find out where Job is and Kai/Holt team up to save Job. They then save him but something happens that sets up Kai vs Holt for the final season?
