they literally made the laziest possible choice at every turn. I was going to make a joke here about them hiring NFL players to write in addition to all the cameos but then I looked at imdb.

So, Spencer became a financial adviser for NFL players so that they wouldn't get bilked the way he did. But it turns out that was more his mistake, and has he helped a single player better handle his finances?

This is the worst show ever. How did it ever go more than one season? I feel like it tarnishes HBO's reputation.

Yes, the DT for the Cowboys and I want to say the one player(maybe retired player) who wanted to buy the land and put up a restaurant.

Given that their firm apparently charges a 3% yearly fee (!!!!!!), I'm guessing that no, Spencer has not helped a single player better handle his finances.

I lost track of the show midway through last season, or thereabouts. Whatever happened to Andy Garcia's character? I didn't notice him in the premiere and haven't watched since.

Also it is worth catching up on or nah? There was a noticeable dropoff between S1 and S2 imo

catch up i think

midway through s2 i was thinking 'meh this pretty much sucks', but i thought it picked up a bit. plus it's probably a better show to semi-binge instead of week to week. wait a month then start imo.

Yep, is is an entertaining show, just enjoy it. It's not supposed to have a serious story. Way better than boring-ass shows like Veep.

Binged the first 2 seasons. An Ok B-. Sad to say but Entourage (early seasons) is objectively better. I'll keep watching though.
