Ra's is just a total boss. I didn't think this British bar fighter looking dude was suitable for the role but he proved me wrong. I really like this version of the character.

He didn't seem like a bad guy either. Gave Ollie some kind words and was upfront with how he was going to dominate him.

Olly killed Merlyn. He also came pretty close to killing possibly the greatest killer on the planet. Run it twice, who knows.

I still feel like Merlyn and Ollie worked out some sort of plan, but if that's not the case, I think that Merlyn came up with the plan because he's basically freerolling. Either Olliver kills Ra's and the League is off his back, or Ra's kills one of his biggest enemies.

the thing is that- most shows are criticized bc it feels like the main x characters are just untouchable and that kind of makes all the tension/drama/etc feel a bit underwhelming bc no matter what these ppl will make it through. so on one hand killing oliver off would be kinda cool bc anyone is truly fair game. otoh however, armell has just absolutely crushed this role and losing him forever would be horrible.

Matt Nable is an Aussie. Accent isn't quite right for the role but he's got the physique.

Well to be fair it is called arrow, not green arrow. Right now there are like five main character arrows if you include the demon heads daughter and the guy who taught Oliver in Hong Kong. They could kill Oliver and replace him with a new green arrow pretty easily even if they specifically needed a GA in the show.

I think it would be super weird maybe unheard of to kill your main character in a mid season break and like lol even when I said a few weeks ago one of the big characters is going to make a big sacrifice for the others it clearly isn't Oliver. Even if I could pretend they are capable of killing and replacing the green arrow this isnt the time for the show to do it.

He's hilariously small.

But he's been backing up Arrow pretty well as Arsenal. Kind of a total side character now. Out the way but still contributes in small doses. He's better than Diggle's boring relationship in Season 1. His relationship is good this season. I liked the Argus storyline.

Arrow's cast is extremely tall overall for TV. Why are people making fun of Roy, because he's normal sized? He's listed at 5'9" on imdb, though we all know that's probably a lie. They went forced perspective on Merlyn, and he's listed at 6' (Oliver looked close to 4 inches taller than him in the scene, in my opinion).

Oliver obviously is not dead. If they wanted it to seem like he is, all they needed to do was stab him on the left not on the right. I feel like this is going to be a callback of the off the cliff not really dead scene from season 1.

Yea Roy's gotta be 5,7 or 5,8 at best. Pretty sure Thea towered over him (although granted she could have been wearing heels). Don't I remember him and Sin being roughly the same height? And she's gotta be like 5,4

That pic second from the bottom is pretty consistent with someone who looks like 5'6" at most. The disparity makes a lot more sense now. It's funny that I didn't notice that before. It's probably because I was spending so much time ignoring the character.
