I've been rewatching Arrested development a lot lately and I can't get over the fact how much better it is than shows that are attracting a much wider audience. There are just so many references hidden in it, and you'll get more and more jokes as you watch it more times.

My favourite episodes are mostly in Season 2 and 3, although Season 1 was extremely solid too. I really liked ''Afternoon delight'', and ''Sword of Destiny''. Every scene with Gob is a lol moment in those episodes.

Good news is that there's a movie in the making, although it might be a couple of years before it is finished.

This show is so great. I had never seen it before and started watching it a few months ago. I've watched all 3 seasons and I can't stop watching them. Gob is hilarious, one of my favorite television characters.

I love those things like at the end of season 1, where lindsay wants to have a bussinessventure in some sort with "beads" and GOB understands "bees" and the whole episode is from then on out filled with bee and honey references.

The great thing about AD is, even though many things are not really "subtle" there also not putting attention on it in a inyourface-overexplaining kinda way, like most shows do.

You're blowing my mind Frank.

In a show filled with incredible lines for some reason this is my favourite one. There's some magic in the look, slight pause and delivery of the line that kills me every single time.

I love AD. Adore it. I take great pride in having been a fan from when it first started airing and trying my hardest to get people watching from the beginning. I rewatch the eps and quote endlessly with friends.

Yet I hate every AD related 2p2 discussion.

I don't know, these threads tilt me for some reason. No clue why.

Nonetheless, I appreciate Arrested Development, and felt like I should post as much here.

I don't know whether it was changed because of censors or because the creators liked it better, but I actually prefer the version that (I think) aired on FOX: "A trick is something a whore does for money... or candy!" Using that save to a group of kids still absolutely slays me.

Candy just makes more sense.

Thinking back on this show makes me... what is this feeling? It's not like envy, or even hungry. It's like my heart is getting hard.

haha, such a great line.

The next on arrested development are also incredibly funny, especially the one in s3 e6 where Rita walks on the water in the pool.

George "Gob" Bluth II: No, Michael, that's not my trick.
Narrator: On the next Arrested Development...
George "Gob" Bluth II: It's my illusion!

Michael: I saw him right before the accident.
Lindsay: What did he say? What were his last words?
Tobias (flashback): I just blue myself.
Michael: He said some nice things.

Tobias: No no, it's pronounced a-nal-ra-pist.
Buster: It wasn't really the pronunciation that bothered me.

George Sr: I don't think the Home Builders Organization is gunna be supporting us.
Michael: Yeah, the HBO's not gunna want us. What do we do now?
George Sr: Well, I think it's show time...I think we have to have a show during dinner.

What I enjoy about this line, and you'll notice if you have the DVD and have watched the Extended Pilot, is that in one version he says "candy" and the other he says "cocaine".

edit: Didn't see Senor Cardgage's post. Honestly not sure which answer is more ridiculous; they're both awesome in their own way.

My love for this show is almost disturbing. Introducing it to someone who loves almost as much as me is what it must feel like when you have your first kid.
