I didn't feel it, gonna rewatch later because an episode with Barry (who reminds me a bit off the Frisky Dingo characters), heavy drinking shenanigans and a dark storyline shouldnt be a miss for me.

Maybe i was just tired or thrown off because I didnt really like the opening as much. The Pam reveal took too long and was poorly executed imo (v. unusual for Archer)

Best Archer ever? that was perfect from start to finish. So many jokes and out-there one-liners and references.

"Was that Peter Lawford's?" slayed me for some reason.

The vacuum cleaner, the Six Million Dollar Man, Lavern & Shirley, The Graduate, Horace Greeley...jesus, what a fun show

Cyril mentioned the bottle of liquor was a gift from Frank Sinatra. When Cyril gets mad at Archer for wiping his mouth on Cyril's tie, Archer says, "what, was that from Peter Lawford.?"

Lawford was the 5th member of the Rat Pack - after Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis and Joey Bishop.

Horace Greeley was a famous newspaper editor - he founded The New York Tribune, among others - and he was one of the people who were responsible for various news writing rules, like "don't bury the lead." Which Pam told Archer. It means, "always begin with the most important, most interesting part of your story." It's what hooks people into reading the article.

Maybe I've rewatched too much Archer/frisky dingo because it was obvious about 3mins in she would end up with Barry.
