Season premier tomorrow on the be FXX...apparently, Archer and crew will be in 1940s Hollywood!

I love that they do **** like this. More animated shows should realize they are not beholden to any original location or time period.

Although the settings and situations have changed radically there still has been 7 years of continuity in one reality, including a current semi-cliffhanger. Reserving judgment, but I'm pretty invested in that reality so if they are actually breaking it I think it will be hard to not have mixed feelings, even if it's just as funny. Maybe this season will be Archer's dream or fantasy or something.

considering it is called dreamland and takes place right after archer got shot, i dont think there is any question it will be some type of dreamplace in his mind

Not too bad...I like the characters they all play in the 40s...but Lana can't sing for ****. And I like how they're getting kinda artsy, too. This was a set-up episode...look forward to the rest of the season!

The current (Dreamland) season is on FXX (second X not a typo). I'm not sure about the last season.

This in some bizarre way reminds me of my ex who said she had a girl crush on Lana. Which I thought was kinda hot I have to admit because 1) animated series I could watch with her and 2) a woman admitting to getting a lady boner from an animated character which, come to think of it, I don't recall ever having a woman admit to me before or since.
