I actually enjoyed the finale. Too bad they used Hotel Califnornia in the premiere, would have been so good in the finale at the end. Loved seeing Liz and everyone getting closure.

A decent amount of stuff went unaddressed, but I didn't really mind.

I agree, i really enjoyed the season so much better than coven was lol

Loved this line. He was great this year and one of the under-rated young actors out there. Really liked how they wrapped it up. Put this as the 2nd best season behind the 1st one. Didn't seem to go too far off track like they have in other seasons mid-way through. Would have liked to have scene maybe Jessica Lange come back for one episode to play the psychic or some other actress.

I came here to post that quote. I can't remember the last time I've laughed so hard at a show. Evan is such a fantastic actor. March was the highlight of the season.

Yea that was nicely placed. I disagree though didn't like the finale. Felt like the show gained steam kind of stalled in the final act. Not a bad season though.

Honestly I didn't know it was the finale while I was watching it, and it felt very underwhelming.

Liked Coven, Freakshow was ok, stopped watching Hotel after 2 episodes.

First ep of this new season was fantastic.

Good to know, I wasn't planning on watching, I'll set dvr now.

Are they going to continue this story? I read something about each episode being a one off this season.

Wow, completely the opposite for me. I'm not sure I can express all the reasons I hated S6 E1, but I'll try:

First and foremost, if the POV narrative/"dramatic reenactment" format isn't the most crappy, overused form of pseudo-documentary bull**** TV, then I don't know what is.

With Jessica Lange gone, Lily Rabe is easily the best actor AHS has left in the stable, and she is completely wasted in this format.

With every dramatic element bookended by narration, it destroys the flow of events and makes it really difficult to build any decent amount of tension.

Too many Blair Witchy-elements: Dangling stick figures, dropped cameras filming sideways, etc.

Sarah Paulson (whom I love) and Cuba Gooding Jr (meh) are just boring together.


And just FYI, the order goes: Asylum>Coven>>>Murder House/Hotel (a toss-up)>>>>>Freakshow >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Roanoke (so far)

Have literally never seen anything use this format so not sure how it's most overused.

im 1 episode into freak show and I feel im not gonna like it.

I dropped this show after the Stevie Knicks debacle, but heard that this latest ep was outstanding. Can it be watched without having to suffer through the prior eps?
