UTG checks, Hero?

We should bet yes? Now that we've bet and bloated the pot we have to call it off yes?

If you pot it then getting 2:1 you have to call it off. If you half pot it then you might have room to fold if you think that UTG is only check raising hands of sufficient strength to make you want to lay down.

Pretty sure AA no redraw is pretty cooked against a 27/13 check raise on this board on an anon site.

his range would have to be pretty set heavy to make us a serious dog (we only need 33% to break even) and it is tough to flop three of a kind. even against 5 card wrap (against which we have 41%) we have a money winning call. top two and two random cards has us at 28%.

On an anon site I think checking back might be slightly better than betting with the 6 and BDFD/SD. I think both options are going to be good to some degree.

You are going to be able to call a bunch of turns and most opponents are going to bet QBBB on the turn. A 27/13 over 70 hands probably won't bet most of the combos that make a SD after he opens UTG on turns 2,3,T+. Also sets up a situation where the turn is 4-9 and he c/f a hand that would make us b/f flop or check back turn

On the anon sites, there range is set heavy in this spot on a c/r with the exact hand we have It always seems like it should be hard tho

Meh, I like betting here, the main issue is how narrow your range looks to villain.. if it is mostly aa, kk, premium high cards he can put us in a lot of tough spots and check becomes a little more attractive

There are a lot more turn cards that help villain than us though, the straight and spade redraw is also pretty big, put me down for 50-70% psb and prob getting it in if raised (unless villain is excessively tight)

I would prefer a smaller raise preflop as it would give us a little more flexibility, it is nice to be able to call a x/r and get away from turn when raised

If villain is tricky, i'd lean towards a check. Otherwise, a non-psb on flop is ok too IMO...as mentioned above AA with no draw seems to be fit or fold on this flop + many turns..
