Villian is a good mtt player but I'm not sure how much PLO he plays. We have only played 35 hands so far and he seems a bit too aggressive (instantly c-betting a hand most good players would check etc.). he made some exploitable bet-sizings a few times, i.e. betting bigger with his made hands. Maybe that's because he perceives me as weak player because I limp a decent amount of buttons or maybe he just doesn't think about being balanced. His flop sizing is larger than his previous flop raises.
I think flatting flop is pretty standard this deep because we want to keep weaker 2 pairs and semi bluffs in his range. KK and QQ are obviously unlikely to be a big part of his range because he didn't 3bet and we have blockers. Furthermore, we reduce the equity of a big part of his bluffing range by having 2 clubs in our hand which makes flatting a little better.
The only hand we really don't want to see on the turn is 77xx but we're getting stacked on all blank rivers anyway if we flat (and we have about 25% equity on the turn if he has naked 7s). The problem with shoving turn obviously is that we fold out a lot of low equity bluffs and sometimes some 2 pair hands that we have crushed. However, there are not too many rivers that we can get value from weaker 2 pair hands on. Shoving is clearly +ev but I'm not sure if flatting is better. It sucks that we don't have a nutted draw or a nutted made hand because most of his stacking-off range will have decent equity against our hand on the turn.
I expect him to fold a lot on the turn because we have KQ but is that really what we want with this hand?
it´s tourney poker guys. over 100bb deep. c/c turn, c/decide most rivers. what cards are we afraid to see otr?
stack conservation is the key thing here.
