River decision

Sorry for the approximate english which is not my mother language.
Plo 5/10; me in the BB with JcJhTs5s vilain at the button, both with 3000 stack;
One limper, villain raises to 50 (rounded) , SB calls, I call, the limper folds. 160in the pot.
Flop Js9h8s. checked to the button who bets 160, SB calls, I call. 640 in the pot.
turn 2c: checked to the button who bets 640, SB folds, I call. 1920 in the pot.
River 6s. I check, villain bets 1920. Now what?? Call or fold? Villain is LAG, good holdem player, average PLO player. My image I think is regular solid respected semi professional.
Maybe I should have reraised on the flop to make the SB fold. but my stack is maybe too big. I will give my analysis later.

Re: River decision

you're 45/55 or better vs the nuts and this is the line he'll take with the 2nd nuts and NFD or other draws, so he actually has a b/f range. Not like we're capped here either

Obv we should already have put more action on the flop with topset+FD+OESD, but as played I think turn is a fairly clear CRAI

Re: River decision

Well, don't like the way you played it on flop or turn, but on river I would say fold.

Looks to me like he is just barreling nut flush draw here and got you to play the best hand passively. I would say that this is definitely a check push on turn for value. Ya maybe he has q10(55/40 him) and maybe he has better fd and q 10 (75 25 him), but you can't sit back and play top set, str8 draw, and fd like that or you are never going to make any money.

Re: River decision

Thank you all for your contributions. It seems that all of you agrree that I would have reraised on the flop or at least shove on the turn. the reason i played passively is that in fact we were playing Omaha with 5 cards in hand, I omitted this because it is normal PLO forum. My fifth card was irrelevant (5h). the difference is that we play more cautiously with 5 cards in hand than 4. Now back to the hand. Here is my analysis
Due to my image he knows that I have either the nut straight without FD (I would have reraised) or FD with a set. In both cases with the As spade (or maybe king) with or without another spade he has to bet. IMO it is a blush more than 50%. since 33% is needed i should call. do you agree? In fact he had the bare As spade with the nut staight.

by the way, don't feel worried about posting about weird/non-std games. everyone plays from time to time weird games...
