Surprised there is not a thread about live PLO cash games during the WSOP unless I missed it. Arriving tomorrow and looking for 2-5 and higher PLO high only...

1. Is the Rio still using the structure of 2-5 with optional 10 on the button and the 5-10-(25-50) games? What is the min to max buyin spread on each?

2. Is Aria, Venetian, or anywhere else regularly making 2-5 or higher during the week?

Rio always has a 5/5/10 game pretty much and a 5/10/25 with 25 being on the button. Often that game is instead 5/10/25 with 25 utg and btn has optional 50$ straddle. They also have been spreading 25/50/100 with the 100 on the btn most days and often multiple tables of it.

1) Yes. 5-10-25 has 1k min. 25-50-100 has 5k min. There is no max. Games play deep.

2) Aria does. I dont know about Venetian.

You can call the poker rooms and ask them what games they got going before you go there.

Venetian usually or at least used to has a decent 2-5 or 5-10 game in the evenings. The Rio's 5-5-10 game can play closer to a 10-20 or 25-50 game at times..

But where are the softest PLO games in Vegas (1-2+)??

was just in vegas and played some plo at rio.

I couldnt imagine softer games. i have no idea about other places.

But if you want the avg vpip to be around 80%, the rio games seem good

I drank too much and **** so didn't get to play as much as I should have. It was about as free and money could get in the games I played tho

What were Rio dealers like? When I was there in 2010 PLO dealers were atrocious and table charges v.high considering that pace was so slow due to so much dealer incompetence.

Well, I guess I need to keep my VPIP to 75% to exploit.

Not any different this year - as juicy as the action was the transaction costs were ultimately too high for me to keep playing PLO at Rio

Usually there is a timepot at the Rio so the guys with VPIP > 50 are more likely going to pay it... not that it matters at all at any reasonable stakes. Vegas has the lowest rake in the world.
