you realize they were super short stacked with the double straddle and after he bets he doesnt need much equity to call right?the tv aspect helps as well but his call while it looks ridiculous isn't that bad

ya, i wasn't faulting Patrik's postflop call, it could have been very slightly EV after betting, i didn't look at specifics. Ivey's preflop call is what struck me as spew the most, AJ84 ccc is pretty horrible. again, i didn't look at stack sizes or anything, just looked like a total spazz hand all around

Not sure which of the players played that hand worse. I guess Galfond played it optimally out of all of them. But they all made mistakes in that hand imo.

look these guys are elite gamblers, they don't play ABC poker, he was setting himself up to look weak against the rest of the table so they value bet him light later, obviously. This guy is more meta than meta.
