Hi boys,

Here we go again, new account on 2p2 posting about bots...this time with a data comparison and proofs though.

So, I spotted a few suspicious accounts on WPN, consulted myself with Grethe(thanks a lot!), who ran some database analysis and here are the results:

For the guys, who have no idea what this data mean - these are ~30 stats, on which the banned bots on stars/888/ipoker have very similar numbers and which are compared to the suspected accounts on WPN.

I wanted to keep this between me, WPN support (and Grethe) in order for the network not to get more bad reputation, as it has enough, but also not to let the bot owner know that we are after him and cashout most of the money. This is the email I wrote to 4 of the biggest sites in the WPN network - blackchippoker, americascardroom, pokerhost and truepoker:

Check points 1 and 2 in the email, they are interesting.

So I waited for a few days, then wrote them another email, asking for a reply. A week passed since my first email with no answer from any of the 4 sites(wtf?!); I also contacted their chat support to ask if they actually reply to emails from unknowns and they confirmed they do.

I would like to ask the PLO regs on WPN to start contacting WPN support, pointing out the facts, so hopefully we get those banned.

I didn't know and I lost a bunch of money to I_hold_it and PLOwned. I presume I wont see any of it back but will write to them. Thanks

rjr777, I can't message you, cause new account, but I believe the more complaints WPN receives, the more likely it is that they actually look into the case.

Forgot to mention: accounts play as high as PLO1k.

Just wanted to say, that I'm very confident the majority of these accounts are bots. I only did a simple analysis as some data parameters were quite obvious from the beginning even the samplesize taken into consideration.

the email starts off with such authority it could be so off putting to any junior customer service rep. might want to "forward concerns" and say you "noticed simlarities between these accounts and accounts under the same name at other sites, and they were banned"

just trying to help the politicking

thought PLOwned played quite a lot of HU, woudlnt play me tho

This is interesting. I was the one who brought attention to the ipoker bots a few months back. Since then I have switched most of my play to WPN and a different poker site. I have played with all of these players in question. I have battled with PLOwned quite a bit and he does chat sometimes. I've always considered him a weaker reg based on a couple things. He and I both made the final table of the Sunday PLO tournament yesterday (35k guaranteed). I_hold_it, lexum, and trashman77 on the other hand I could for sure see being bots. I suspect Lexum and Guptle are colluding which would likely make Guptle a bot too.

i emailed security we will see how that goes...

I called support and they claim that they are aware of the situation and those accounts have all been suspended.

My guess is they either tell us tough luck or they actually pay their players.

I had similar thing happen on ultimate bet back in the day with the potripper incident they gave me over $1000 back out of nowhere.

Ignition seems so much softer... but I'm sure the bots are over there too...

Going to stick to live until there's a resolution

FWIW I've only seen PLOwned last night and acidman once last week. The others I haven't seen in awhile

I was talking about this with a couple people some months back when I put in a bit more volume on WPN but didn't really have a big enough sample to know for sure.

Can't remember the screen names of a couple accounts not listed at 5/10 and 10/20 but they played a very similar style to these accounts.

Pretty wild they are out here building 37/24/11 bots

A few quick points

1) Agree, the mail to the sites should be re-written
2) I have never played on WPN or against any of the accounts. I'm only judging by the data.
3) Even though I'm quite sure, we have seen two examples out of the many suspected accounts who turned out not to be bots (according to Stars and is still playing)

Does the topic deserve a xpost thread in nvg or internet poker? So more people get aware.

I've played against all of them and PLOwned talked to me immediately after a hand has been played out.
So I guess he is a real person?
What email content should we send to WPN support as a PLO cash player? I'm willing to do something on this, thank you OP bringing it to attention.

almost all of the stars bots did talk too...
I guess an email, mentioning the accounts and what is suspected should be fine

when I get home and have access to my computer I definitely have some other names that should be looked into.

(the sample sizes I'm working from are much smaller, though)

Are these suspected bots winning?

I was under the impression that part of why the PS bots were winning was because of shared hole card information. If these suspected bots rarely play on the same table, then that concern goes out the window.

Often play the same table

collusion was never proven.

they were (and still are) winning, because of the access to a forbidden software, which explains their identical stats.

you got any more info about this forbidden software?

Have a at least 5k hands logged with them too, if u need more handhistories
