Nova, i dunno if the theme itself is new but it prompted me to change to it after the software update. I like being able to sit centre bottom on 6m tables. Again dunno if that's new, never really changed theme before.

ah ok...the same for me, never really used them and i remember seeing multiple nova themes, thought there was some now version of it which i didn't find.

btw. played barcode and especially vietrussian hu, and I never thought they were the same person?

i think the only thing you could hope for is if its policed by stars, and when they get X amount of emails saying Y account is suspicious they do a a few random webcam checks.

i think theres 0 chance they make it compulsory for mandatory webcam checks over 25/50 , and i dont think anyone should want that .

wasn't saying any of those people same people, just names that came to my mind that always never sure who playing on either account in a 6m or hu setting before

but in reality you never really know and probably not anything that will happen where you will so best for some to just stick to mid/highish stakes 6m games and if playing with someone who shares account sometimes am not giving up that money

In Estonia Every person has an ID-card with a pecial chip in it. With this card u can basically do most of the stuff (Internet banking, parking, public transport tickets, etc)

When Pokerstars bought gambling licence in Estonia and all local players had to move from pokerstars.com to pokerstars.ee (same player pool). Pokerstars.ee client asked us to insert our ID-card and special password (special card reader hardware, which is very cheap) in order to verify our identity.

I know that some European countries have similar systems. If client could ask for this kind of verification once in a while it would help at least a bit to stop multiaccounting (ID card is usually always with you, and giving it and password to someone might not end well)

What is the pool of players at 25/50 and above? Like 300 players?
Given most people already will have a webcam we thought stars could offer them in the store for a token amount of fpps and give free for supernovas.

Note- the main purpose of this is the deterant aspect. I wouldn't expect stars to be asking people all the time- just like a few players a year.

Ye, thats a good idea. Just look at the new FTP, out of nowhere there are new accounts playing nosebleeds NL and PLO. Not to mention A LOT of highstakes regs play on their friends regfish account to get action.

On the other side, I really wonder how often specific players when they do take a shot at nosebleeds go into skype conference call with 3 others to share action and skill at the same time discussiong every decision together.

I'm having a pretty big issue with one particular account on stars that I'm losing a lot of money to.

It seems more than evident to me that more than 1 person is on the account playing ****ing 24/7 at 25/50+ over whatever tables run, or am i delirious because someone is clearly better than me

the webcam idea seems silly, would it not block quite a few recreational players who decide to sit in the game on the spur of the moment.

nah, cause they should only start caring about random accounts if they start putting in volume

once an account has logged like 10k hands at 25/50+, stars should just send them a webcam and either require webcam to be connected for software to run or impose significant suspensions if webcam is disconnected/pointed away/etc when they want to check in

I think there is some serious privacy concerns with this webcam solution. I'd like to be able to grind naked for example if I wish to. I'd have a problem that someone could be able to connect and see what's happening in my house (room or whatever) at any given moment.


Edit: Disclaimer : This doesn't concern me as I don't play over 25/50 and maybe i should just stfu. But I can't help myself thinking about this.
