I mean I liked playing deep-ante too but in PLO you often get very deep anyways, and the good players will have a much higher edge in the crazy-deep pots that most players are just very unaccustomed to.

You know this is more of a reason to remove them right, as it proves the fish lose quicker at deeper games? stars want to keep the fish in the game as long as possible. This means striking a balance between what they enjoy and what doesnt send them busto.

Only 2 of them are legit fish anyways, with 2 prob in the top 10 best plo players.

They play them because they are free of shortstackers not because they like antes imo.

I agree that shortstackers are extremely annoying for the recreationals when it comes to PLO. Something has to be done.

For hu I like ftp's options the best with 40bb cap is way better than shallow imo. Regular 40-100bb. And a deep option 100bb-250bb. There's clearly a demand for deep as there's a handful of recreational players who will buy in for 250bb at isildurs 50/100 huplo tables. The main change though is swapping out cap for shallow.

Yea pretty much. The best players are gonna find a way to win regardless of the game/buyin req's/structure. Its just human nature for people to lobby for the games that they believe are best for themselves and/or the sustainability of the game itself.

And guys, no need to put yourself 12th on the waiting list and then do as the 11 other guys and not play when the fish leaves. Stars should cap the waiting list at 4-5 people or so.

I think stars should add HU rush. I am sure it would create more action and get rid of many problems I see with today's HU games.

When I first saw CAP I tough it was a good idea but when I saw that the CAP was 40bb I didn't understand anything. IMO the cap should be in the area of 100 - 200bb.

And how will that make things any better? There are networks with no waiting lists at all and there's still insane amount of bumhunting at them.

All table selecting software, scripts, HUDs, etc. should be banned, everything else is just a bandaid which is worked around in no time.

Cause now the fish discover that 12 people are "hunting him" everytime he seats, and around half of them are even regulars here on twoplus.. Yeah obv people shoudl be wise enough to realize that there are no needs to seat from number 3-4 or up, but the majority of bumhunters are scum.

I agree to the last part obv, but its also important to create an invorement when the recs have a good time around the tables and not feel like a deer in the hunting season.

I think general table ethics have a much bigger impact on fish feeling hunted rather than long waiting lists.

For the love of god people, when the fish sits out, even when he just busted, keep playing. I've been at a whole bunch of tables where the fish busts but doesn't leave and everyone snap-clicks sit out next bb apart from the best player at the table. I'm not gonna play HU with a crusher, so I sit out as well. I will be writing things in chat like "If 4 people play, I'll play." No response. This is just awful etiquette, and (we can't say this for sure, we can only make educated guesses) in my opinion this impacts the predatory feeling much much more than a waiting list that a fish probably doesn't even notice.

I mean, when you're playing a certain table, there is no immediate indicator of how big the waiting list is. You'd have to go to the lobby to check out the table you're already playing on. Who does that? Do fish do that? I don't think so.
