2/5PLO 1000 buyin....
Im new to PLO but I know holdem...
I was in a hand where I had junk preflop... 7732..... Limped pot....
Flop Jc 7d 4h.....
Villain bets 35... I min raise to 70.... villain re-pots.... now I think and tell myself.... I min-raised to see if he has the nuts.... If he did, the only move is to re-pot... He did... yet I felt compelled or played like a donkey to call... so I called 320$.....
Turn is a blank crap card and he shoves..... ended up calling it and he shows JJ..... I put him on JJ..... but I have no experience in PLO, so I wanted to see if I was right 100%.... It was expensive....
In the future, is this a standard fold on the flop or was it a cooler? Middle set vs top set?

Avoid going broke in a limp pot, the difference in NLH and Omaha is that in general in this spot in NLH you would get action from bottom set and in Omaha you would not, considering experience players.
So considering all your unconventional raise on the flop was the best play possible, but you just could not find a fold...

He either has 44 or JJ here. Sure it's a cooler but don't ever feel like just because it's a cooler you should get stacked Everytime. That's a formula for disaster. I mean when you min raise and he comes over the top, not sure what other hands he could even have here. I like calling flop but folding turn doesn't seem completely unreasonable with no history.

When he comes back over the top you can fold but all villain dependent. The key is to not pay junk hands so that you are JJ more often and you get to stack others

This is not really a cooler because set over set happens way more often in PLO than it does in NLHE just based on the fact that you get 4 cards instead of 2. I don't want to say that set over set in NLHE is uncommon. It does happen, but not on the regular. In PLO, set over set is almost standard so finding a fold in situations such as the one OP posted is optimal and saves a lot of money!

I think your biggest leak is your liberal use of ellipses. Improve that and your game will follow suit.
There really isn't much anyone can say that would help you improve in this spot. Fold pre, don't minraise and don't commit 200bb in a limped pot in this spot.

Call flop. You have 1 out or villain has half the deck. If you want to get it in, do so on a blank turn.

going broke with middle set on a rainbow flop in a limped multiway pot is not good.

Sweet min raise to see where you're at. If this is your strategy then save yourself money and don't play plo. Or holdem.

try to have a flush draw , and play to draw in plo sets are underdog often to bigger draws, but his jam on a blank is 100% proof he has JJJ, so learn to read the board and range plo hands nlh is more or less nothing here.
