7 game mix has been great for me. Im a solid limit player in all forms of poker.
Plo is new to me honestly s hopefully I don't get flamed to bad..
I was up 700$ in a long session when this hand came up.
Sorry I cannot convert 7 game mix.
8-16 mix
2-4 plo 6 players
Opponent is a plo ftp pro and uber aggro but wins a lot & plays very solid.
Hero bb A-s 2-s 5-c 10-c
UTG raises pot to 13$
MP+2 (villain makes it 26$)
I call and utg folds
Flop J-d 5-d 10-s
Villain pots it $65.50
Hero calls 65.50
Turn 2-c
Villain requests time
Villain bets pot 131.00
Hero folds
How bad was this?
I have no redraws, 3 pr and what should I've done differently?
TY for all or any help

Fold preflop especially when you are new to the game and dominate in other forms of mix, your hand has basicly two good cards ATsxx.

As played, I call flop and ship turn (assuming 100bb stacks).

Fold preflop, fold flop. You're slightly behind even just top pair with no support, much less top 2 pair or better, which will be common given JT gets played a lot

board: JdTd2h
Hand Pot equity Wins Ties
As2c5cTs 34.55% 207,089 471
KQJ* 65.45% 392,440 471

fold this preflop, esp against a 3bet (albeit a min 3bet) from a hyperaggro opponent. you're OOP and your hand doesn't flop well.

fold flop

it's a 100% no brainer fold pre, but as played I just ship the flop.

Pretty tricky read-dependent spot postflop. I usually like to play bottom two a lot stronger than most in HU pots, but I'd guess his min-reraise range is going to have a lot of big rundowns in it so I think it's actually best to just fold this on the flop. The board's coordinated enough that he's probably not even C-betting if he misses the flop altogether. And yeah this isn't even close to a call preflop. This hand's worth calling one raise OTB or maybe in the CO, that's about it.

Also, I LOLed at this:
