Hi. I'm new to Omaha so forgive me if this is an easy spot. Game is live 1/2/5 550 effective (villain covers us) with very little preflop raising. Hero has an aggressive image, having taken down several pots with bets when checked to/cbets. Villain seems like a pretty normal loose/passive players.

One limper, hero limps JJ78sscc (should this be a raise? my logic is that it's a limp as a raise still gets callers and bloats the pot oop). 1 more limper and Villain pots in small blind to 50. First limper calls, hero calls (is this a fold? Feels like this hand has too much potential against a transparent preflop raising range but I'm very inexperienced at this). One more caller. Flop comes 4sQhJd. V pots 200.

I feel like this V doesn't lead pot 200 on this board into 3 players with bare AA. I feel he has to have a set or AAKT/AAT9. I really want to jam here but his range has me confused. Thoughts?

All-in, not close. He could credibly have 2p, wraps, combo draws you are ahead of.

If villain might do something crazy like bet/fold bare aces or kings but fold to a jam you could just wait to put the rest of your chips in any turn but bet/folding this flop for full pot is terrible.

This, especially true if everyone folds in front of you.

JJ76 isn't particularly strong because of the triple gaps (8,9,T). As you can see flopping a bare set can be difficult to play.

Gotta get this in here with stacks so light.

Thanks for all of the feedback. The consensus is that my actual decision to call was a mistake, which I suspected after reflecting on the hand. Other player calls for less. Turn is the 4th jack. Villain check folds to a $250 bet. He says he had AKQT after the hand was over.

Yeah there is no benefit to calling over jamming. You're just giving your opponent an easy chance to get away from his draw if the turn pairs the board, and making a very hard decision for yourself on any turn card 8 and above that doesn't pair the board.
