My mistake, it was game 5 that was the crazy one.

You can watch them all here: http://www.gomtv.net/2012gsls2/vod/67132/?set=1&lang=

I think the first is free but you need to buy a ticket/pass to watch the rest. Not 100% on that though.

these fkn wsop packages are all marked up to like 1.25 1.35, this seems crazy to me, anyone buy pieces and can enlighten me on what should be looking for?

1.35 is pretty high but 1.2 is standardish for live markup. when you factor in the cost of getting to the event it's pretty fair IMO

yeah I've paid 15-20% markup in the past, tho I dun care who you are, anymoar is going into the lol-territory

also bricked on young fritzy who got tilted and left instead of finalising our deal for 10-20% of him in the ozzie millions (he came 3rd for 7 figures) when i stacked him in some dumb nl hand early one morning

the cost of going to the event is and should be irrelevant in the mark-up

Re: ***May 2p2 never go down again Low Content Thread***

so ideally with wsop packages should be looking for 1.15-1.2

seems like ive seen alot of ones at 1.25 and bit above sell action really easy

I got some really good players and payed 1.17 mu and 1.18 mu
If someone is a known name they can get away with selling at higher mu

I think it's fair to factor in travel expenses somewhat in the mu for live events

Mac question:

I have two laptop Macs, one Air (the old one) and one Pro (a new one). Is it possible for me to dual screen using the two? I'd like to be grinding from the Pro and use the Air as an extra screen; I have a friend who said it could be done, but I didn't find anything Googling around.

I think that can often be very fair. Assuming the horse is a very good player, in live tournies, especially the WSOP's which are probably the softest tournies of the year, unless they are playing a really hard schedule, good players can often get a 100% ROI or more. Selling at 1.25 and even 1.35 for very good players in a soft schedule is still a good deal.

Also when buying, always ask about the tax situation. For me in Canada, 30% is witheld. Apparently you can get it all (or most back) and can definitely get back 30% of your losses from it (so they are only taking 30% of total trip profit). But this still adds up and if the taxes are initially coming out of your share, the markup should definitely be decreased.
