Richas can confirm, but there was some suggestion from UK regulators about sites having to be more transparent about refunds in the future.

Its perverse if the sites have incentives to keep the bots in the games (worst case they have to pay bot winnings back - not rake earnings).
The worst case is worse than that. Currently the reputable sites appear to be doling out the money remaining in the bot accounts, an amount that has nothing to do with how much the bots won or raked. There has never been any word on how they distribute it either, is it based on what you lost to the bots? How many hands you played with them? A friend of mine played more than 100k hands with a single NL bot account and got nothing, I lost a few k to them and got nothing.

I know for a fact botting with AutoIt script is still going on undetected on party.

I know this from a $0.01/$0.02 botter "friend". As long as they don't even catch him I know party is in no way safe to play on.

Can anyone PM me what stat potbet and Schwein were talking about in posts #72 and #366. I'm 95% sure I found another bot on Stars (fits all the other criteria) and would like to confirm my suspicion.

Just a warning to anyone that still takes Poker Stars seriously - there are massive bot rings everywhere, both on real and play money tables. They join, strategically position themselves around a table and then follow a simple algorithm to try and get players into tilt, so that they can exploit players who cannot leave the table (for whatever reason). All the evidence you need is in your hand histories - look at who joins and when, and how they play. Unless you are 100% certain that all players at your table are human and not colluding, you are being scammed.

You're a few years too late to the party. The winning regulars at HSPLO and SSPLO who know what to look for haven't spotted new(er) bot accounts playing the regular ring tables recently, but no you're right, gotta watch out for all the bots and collusion at the play money tables. . Also ~90% of all hands played at 2/4+ (which is HSPLO according to 2p2) are played at zoom with almost the entire player pool consisting of longtime regulars and players who are clearly recreationals, there aren't any new mysterious winning regulars these days, so your post is in the wrong forum.

Thanks SeaKing. You're right, I am a late stater - and Zoom is the way to go for sure.

If the bot ring in question is still alive, it makes sense to keep the thread open to discuss it.

But if the botring has been shut down, and the tables are safe (for now), having this thread open does damage to the credibility of the current games on offer on pokerstars/partypoker, and is bad for online pokers reputation. Many players avoid online poker entirely because of doubts about bots and the integrity of the games.

Does it make sense to close this thread? A new thread could be created in future if somebody has evidence that a new botring might exist.

I'm sure it's been mentioned previously but it is very possible, if not highly likely, that the bot ring simply moved on to another poker site.

He was the biggest bot there ever was I think, starting out as a holdem bot then moving to plo.
No it isnt active anymore.

Just finished reading the whole thread.

Back in the day I knew there where robots. Just didn't know how many. Thought they where just a few. Kinda thought they where like an urban myth.
Then I read Dusty's book where he says he can spot robots and exploit them. And that he doesn't mind playing against them because he win$.
So i was like: -''ok cool. few robots wgaf'' Right?

Wrong.

I played at I-Poker for years ignorant about the bot infestation. Once got refunded $80.
After that I spotted 3 robots reported them. 3 Guys with exact same stats playing speed poker.
Ridic obvious they where botters. Guys at ipoker gave me $0 and said that they where just ''chip dumping''. Withdrew my $ and never played there again, even though i have a killer RB deal there.

Been playing at PS ever since and i see some guys that certainly look like bots in my games.

Reading the whole thread made me lose any faith i had in online poker. I don't see myself playing anything above 2NL cause i DO NOT trust Online Poker.

And before i prouded myself of not being a rigtard. Now you can count me into the rigtard camp. Why? Because if there is just one little bot out there, then Online Poker is rigged.
It also made me think about the legal SW we use. I have played with and without it and it is definitely an advantage.

So it is 2018. Online Poker is a field composed by: Robots > Cyborgs (Regs with HUDs, seating scripts, table ninja, stars helper, etc) > Humans (recreational players)

OK Cliffs

-27+ accounts (biggest crushers) at plo 200 had identical stats 3b = sqz just an example.
-All 27 accounts stats changed overnight (literally).
-Their style was so unorthodox that human regs labeled them as fish. (They hid well)
-About 16 accounts got banned.
-4.4ish Million$ where stolen by these 27 accounts.
-The refunds they made where an insult/joke/spit on the face.
-One of the botters came to the thread to rub it on our noses.
-These 27 accounts had an illegal software (dream machine) that tells them what to do POST flop
-SCARY part: They where not sharing hole cards. Difficult to believe i know, but there was no evidence.
-Fedor was the biggest winner 350k+
-Is better to start a thread than to email stars Bots where reported by others in 2014.
-Amaya never gave a public/official statement. Ignorance is a bliss and they know it.
-Do Not play online poker (is rigged). Unless you find it fair to play against specialized AI w/o knowing.
-If you see the peeks of botter forums in this thread you will see a guy claiming he had 50 Bots in 1 site.
-Sites look the other way when they see a bot.
-Some Foolish, short sighted, selfish regs think that this thread hurts online poker.
-Stars was the biggest beneficiary from the Bot Ring (2M+ in rake).
-We all still play at stars because we are poker addicts that don't care about getting ripped off.
-RIP Online Poker.

Anyone with access to rPTR?
I'm looking into 3 potential bot accounts, but my own sample is not significant enough.

Also, anyone with a large volume on plo50-plo400 in 2018 on PS. A little help with 10-15 different stats on 3-6 accounts (some suspected, some control/validation) would be appreciated

Hi guys,

Just a quick update.
With a little help from rPTR and bit of number crushing I managed to report 6 accounts to PS. PS responded quickly and the case was handed over to the security team.

Today PS came up with the conclusion that all 6 suspected accounts had been breaking ToC. No surprise to me, to be honest, but a nice confirmation upon the work and suspicion.

Huge thanks for rPTR+data inputs. Fingers crossed that we get some money back and that the security layer is now even stronger going forward

We have completed our investigation into this player's account and concluded that they have been playing in violation of our Terms Of Service. We have made the decision to ban them from future play on PokerStars.

A separate process is now underway to calculate the distribution of compensation to be paid to players deemed to have been harmed by the violation. If you are included as one of these players, you will receive a compensatory credit, as well as an email notifying you of the credit, once this process is complete.

Thanks again for your vigilance in reporting this to us.

What possible reason would you have to keep the User IDs secret?
