Hi,
last few months is very popular NLO 2/4 (its easier for dealers and players then PLO for counting) in our town and players are realy realy bad, I feel huge edge but I am beginer in PLO. My question is: Do you have any experiense in NLO? What are diferents PLO/NLO? Like ranges in preflop games. what do you think about shoves something like broadways card, aces, kings againts one opponent.

I play mostly NLO therefore most of my question are maybe quite stupid. But in our games is standart reise 3-7bb pf with something like 50-80bb stacks. How to defend it?

I'd be squeezing (all-in) with a huge range in this game. I'm assuming live + bad = tons of preflop action where someone opens for 3-7bb and 3+ people flat behind with hands they don't want to stack off with.

NLO is complete garbage, but I'd like to see PLO with NL play on river. THAT would be something I'd play.

As for OP, with 50-80bb stacks, what hoopman said is right.

Yup. Just don't be upset when it gets all in preflop four ways and the guy with 8832 singlE suited ends up scooping because he had "pot odds" to call.
I've played in some NLO games and they are very juicy in my experience. People 3bet shoving with bad aces , kings for like 250bb+ and overplaying them on the flop for same stack sizes. Just be aware of the variance monster in these games. It can be a bitch

I've played NLO before. It is a mental, fun game and very popular with recreational players due to the obvious immense action.

You need a large bankroll to play it effectively but it can be very lucrative. Hoopman offers some decent advice for shortish stacks but, naturally, the game changes significantly when the game gets super deep (and ours always used to get very very deep). Where is the game?
