BTN is running at 18/6/1.4 over ~300 hands

he seems quite passive post-flop

hum? easiest fold ever? just cant see how we can call here. Do you think he called your flop bet with an FD and overcards and hit the jack an ships one pair+FD? I guess twopair oder a str8 is more likely right?

id like to hear others opinions but i think turn is pretty thin. i probably wouldnt cbet flop either since we dont have many forms of improvment when called and the flop hits his pre flop calling range pretty damn hard

seems like a trivial fold unless you can provide specific reads.

No objections to the line sans reads thus far either.

imo it hits his flatting range more than our raising range so if hes any good then he is going to own us when we cbet this flop with bare overpairs

edit: just saw he is 18/6, meh maybe against him its ok, but certainly against good tags/lags its not a gd cbet

Betting the turn's awful. I think you get a fold < 10% of the time and you're pretty much never ahead.

I folded.

I think the c- bet is nessesary because we can't just go into c/f mode on rag flops, which just about anyone can exploit.

On the turn I'd say c/f > b/f >>> any other option, although c/f still feels weak. But maybe that is my NLHE experience skewing my opinion.

how are we pretty much never ahead when a passive villain flats a flop with straight draws and flush draw and a completely insignificant turn card falls? i think a turn bet is good, but i think id bet a little smaller
