Good news, nevertheless,
I'm wondering what will be happening to me:

I withdrew money from FTP as soon as the first bad news broke, the balance showed zero on FTP for few weeks and soon after site shut down. No money transferred to moneybookers obv. I was worried that my money was 'in the air' and I still have the same concern still.

any thoughts? I'm sure I'm not alone in this

The consensus is that the monies has since been returned to your account. That's one of the things they have been busy with in recent months. This was said by multiple competent sources fwiw.

From a marketing standpoint, it's easier to attract players as its viewed as another choice.
