I cant convert the hand, cause HEM didnt record it.

This is the first hand of HU, villain is from Canada and is new to me. I have seen him in 6-max and hes probably solid.

HERO has K987

Villain opens 60, HERO 3-bets to 180, Villain calls. Pot 360

Flop 844

HERO bet 180, Villain call. Pot 720. 1640 behind.

Turn K

HERO check, Villain bet 360, HERO call. Pot 1440. 1280 behind.

River 4

Hero bet 640

Thoughts on turn? Should we bet-call, if so, what betsize?
Or c-r for value&protection vs villains floats/draws/Kxxx?
Or c-c and c-c most rivers?

What about that river, checking seems bad, I think leading half pot has almost the same effect as shoving (make him fold A-high and maybe small pairs, and we lose less when he calls.)

I prefer betting turn, but given you check, I prefer c/r ;-).

Wrt the river, I think shoving >> 640. People are becoming price sensitive in there spots.

Is there any merit to being allowed to bet/fold turn given match is new, villain may be less likely to jam stuff we need to get it in against, etc..?

Also, how often do we expect to get raised on this turn in the first hand of HU against described villain?
