reads: villain opens 85% buttons and FT 3b like 35%!
in 3bp he folds to c bets only 20%
postflop he is a very capable player, also not scared of getting it in light.

Would you barrel the turn? We have a weak 2- belly and block the nuts.

And when he calls the turn, what do we do on the river?

Betting the river is absolutely terrible. Described opponent folds tens up like never ever. It's between check/folding and check/calling, as most of the time he's going to have two pair and just check it back, but there's probably as many one pair + FD hands that he's going to bet as sets/straights/frisky T7s for value. I'd probably have to soulread it based on timing/sizing.

completely agree with iggy. betting river is super bad unless you are going for crazy thin value, and its way too thin imo

I prefer bet on flop than check - obv depends upon hero's perceived checking range on this flop texture tho

3b is so bad. this is not even callable pre

Anyway turn is a check. 3/4 pot is the worst size bet

    River is 1720 or c/f

i think 3betting a hand like this is okay if he folds so much to 3bs. or how would you loosen up your 3b range? like what % do you 3b then?

i ended up ch/calling the river and he showed me SPED turned nut straight. i like his play. and the reason i barreled fl and turn was cause he never folded to c bets... but the turn bet is the most debateable spot of the whole hand IMHO.
