Also this is not the first time in the past couple days you have been posting **** in the chat about my play/winrate/etc. Why can't you just enjoy all the money you won and try not to make everyone else day as miserable as yours.

Anyway I'm done arguing with you, clearly you are on the right side and I'm just a cry baby. I will do the grown up thing and just put you on mute. hf

I love how he comes back to say how your posts are pathetic, what a douche seriously

According to Phil Helmuth it's quite ok not to have friends till your late 40s.

@ SeaKing
There are only a few other postesr in ssplo and hsplo which i respect more than him/you.
Always good advice and telling how big of a raketrap micro/lowstakes plo zoom also by providing numbers for x years now.
If you have serious issues get help!

At some point way back in time, maybe 2011-2013, someone added me to a skype group that had a bunch of SSPLO regulars in it. Seaking was also in this group. He was sharing hands played against fun players, berating them in the group in really unacceptable ways, calling them "dumb n******", using caps non stop. Just being insufferable, really.

We all behave strangely at times when we're in our teenage years. There's lots of insecurities, we're trying to fit in, we're trying to look cool. I find it strange to see that 5 years onwards the vibes are still similar. Is it that hard to be a nice human? Come on, man.

Not trying to defend anyone, but how does "pro" has anything to do with the topic or what you are trying to point at?? its a shortcut of "professional" , what is by definition someone who is living from what he is doing.. i see no context connection. Apart from that and putting etiquette and other bs aside, anyone who is pro can obviously call himself pro.

I had this same problem with berating fish for their plays in live setting. Alot of mental errors and misjudgements were going on. It went for half a year without me noticing untill someone else told me my attitude is bad. So yeah, clearly after that experience i have no interest in doing this anymore, its contraproductive, i would rather lie to the fish how his plays are awesome, be friendly and buy him a drink.

Anyway,i dont understand people in this thread who come and say "you are a dick to people" and move on.. I mean whats the point? It solves nothing. If you dont like someone, you just ignore him. If you care about him, then say it differently, add some reasons "why", teach him how you see it. But a notification sentence.. pretty... dry response. I guess some people dont want to involve "value" in talking.

Also, I probably wouldn't be doing this;

Roy, update on what's going with you?

IIRC, you seemed to have gone MIA not too long after getting a Stars sponsorship.

Not entirely untrue. Apologies for outing your SN, I kinda thought it was already out (it had been mentioned earlier) and you didn't ask me to keep it a secret or anything. I believe it would have come out anyway, and it wasn't with ill intent. I hoped to help you.

I went MIA around the same time as I lost my Stars contract, not around when I got it. Both were around a year ago from now. I broke up with my fiancee and relocated cities so I was dealing with selling the house and the move and all that jazz and there wasn't much poker related stuff at all going on. I traveled a lot.

Games have obviously gotten a lot tougher and I really couldn't have been bothered playing at all for almost all of last year. I pretty much just took an extended break from it all, and had mediocre (winning small) results whenever I did try to dabble in it again.

Poker is also essentially banned in Australia, won't be long before the option to play online on any major site is gone and I have no real interest to play online poker anymore anyway. The prospect of bots and #amaya and the future outlook of online poker being so bleak hasn't done much to make me want to give being an online pro a chance again.

These days I play in live games (never thought I'd see the day), and have been loving it. It's much more social and the games are generally great. I'm exploring non-poker long term options. I had a great decade-ish as a poker pro but I feel it's time to move on to something else for me now. I'll almost always still play poker part-time/to some extent, but highly unlikely to be SNE-like hours ever again.

I am going to Prague for a few days in 2 weeks, are there some cardrooms that have PLO games(1-2, 2-5) running regularly?

If I have time left I would like to check out Rozvodov for 2 or 3 days.

Thanks.

If you're in Prague for 2 weeks, don't waste the time playing 1-2 or 2-5. Just head to Darlings, kick your feet up and grab a beer.

Crash/DB situation has recovered to being mildly entertaining. Enjoyed the stories.
