serious question.
No you are not the only one, I have also had 2 100BI+ downswings last year. The variance in this game is so sick, I dont think peope get how sick it actually is.

Last year I was breakeven for 1.4 Million hands, with an EV bb/100 winrate of 2bb/100.

Re: ***High Stakes PLO BBV Thread***

the upswings are the most crazy things. Like 400 BI straight up flopping nuts every hand, every hero-call right and you can't do any wrong. So frustrating when you're on the other side but you have to love it - its a big part of why the games run.

Re: ***High Stakes PLO BBV Thread***

Yea true, and it is the reason why I do like PLO in fact.
The one thing that frustrates me is that I have done nothing but experience extremely sour runs everytime I try and play 25-50 +. Without a bit of luck or definitly no bad luck everytime you take a shot it is impossible to be able to play a new limit. Hopefully It will come soon for me as well.
gl and see you in 2 weeks when I will be playing again.

Very true. 25-50 is a different kind of jump than any other limit up to that point. I took like 3 shots trying to play it on stars and just got my clock cleaned everytime. On PTR I was a winner at every limit 1-2 to 10-20 and then a $65k loser at 25-50. Gotta get lucky when moving up but, then again, if you're good and keep trying, eventually it will happen.

+1 for sure, running good at the start when jumping to 25/50 is so crucial

Re: ***High Stakes PLO BBV Thread***

Eire blocks a fair bit of Galfond's bluffing range that he beats
