It was definitely a mistake but you guys are over reacting. I agree with iggy that the guys 3bet range is wide this deep and iggys raise puts a lot of pression on the opp range and he is never drawing dead. Obviously its not the optimal play but not that big deal.

for a flop decision, it is a very big mistake not just a few bb's and very clear.. I think that is why everyone is chiming in, rarely do you see this many comments in our little bbv thread

in other news anyone know of any food or drink that really energizes you (naturally)

I never had an energy drink until this summer and now I'm hopelessly addicted to working out with a can of lo carb monster in my stomach : /

i've always had great results drinking green tea.

Don't really have any history with Pre. Any thoughts on the flop or the river?
My cbet % is probably ~60% for session.

ooh, stimulants

coffee is always my choice for poker

EC (ephedra+caffeine) stack is pretty potent for working out - generally makes me tilt and spew with poker

ur pretty screwed now. i started doing that years ago and its fn hard to stop. when u first start drinking it ur workouts are insanely awesome. after a while u cant even workout if u dont drink it. takes about a week of misery to kick it. nothing "naturally" gives u any kind of real energy in comparison to caffeine/stimulants. someone will prob chime in with b vitamins or something. but if u have ever been a stimulant user, those will give u as much energy as licking sugar packets

I've been using those 5 hour energy shots and they work pretty well. I drink 1/2 a bottle right when I wake up (bottle is only 2 oz) and I can start playing right away without feeling slow/groggy at all. I feel 100% wide awake almost immediately regardless of whether I slept for 10 hours or 4. Much better than any energy drink I've tried.

generally these energy drinks are going to be pretty bad for your long-term health. get some exercise, drink water, regular sleeping patterns, coffee, hey presto you're full of beans!

on a related note, i ran 10k in under an hour yesterday

haha yeah should clarify I would throw up all over the place with I did my cardio with it, but when I do upper body I swear it adds crazy muscle endurance

Regular sleeping patterns is a huge one. I can't remember the last 1 month period where I was on the same schedule.

I don't get how people are so easily affected by caffeine? The only effect I might be able to feel from it is that I get semi-addicted to whatever type of coke/pepsi (diet) I might be drinking, but I never get energized at all. The same goes for Red Bull or caffeine pills and what-not. Maybe it's because I drank a ****-ton of coke when I was younger?

If I have a full soda at around 6 or 7 in the evening, it's pretty much a guarantee I won't be able to fall asleep before 4 in the morning that night without some sort of sleeping aid

I haven't really studied the effects of caffeine on the body but I would say that's a good thing?
