ya i tanked 55 secs into my timebank cause i wanted to fold. unfortunately he had just lost a few pots to me and i was worried about some sort of spazz out shenanigans and called like the payoff wizard i am.

what is worst downswing you guys have had? and how much higher would you guys estimate variance is than NLHE?

i like plo and feel like i understand it ok. im still up lifetime, but every time i go to try and grind i snap lose 30 buyins in like 2500 hands. is this normal?!?!

It would be a weird game if all in pots were split according to ev.
The size of your swings depends on your playing style and strength and style of your opponents, so its hard to say whats normal.

If your someone who has multiple 30 buy in downswings very close to each other then probably something is wrong. However having 1 or 2 of those downswings happen to everybody.
