Would've been close to postworthy if the fourth jack showed on the river, now it's like "Oh, look at me, I'm an awesome luckbox".

Damn, this is a ballsy calldown all right. I guess it makes sense though if he's floating wide on the flop since you've got enough semi-clean outs that you'll have decent equity against his range on the turn and then he's likely pretty polarized on the river.

so tired of ftp right now, I'm 140BIs below ev on ftp last ~50kish hands (cap/shallow tables so 5600bbs under ev), (although I'm 80BIs above ev on stars last 69k hands so not whining about my luck generally, just feels so tormenting to run 5BI below ev every time i log on to and play on ftp)

and can obv not quit ftp, ftp games are so much softer than stars games every day except weekends.

Don't know what i do wrong either, I'm just not getting the deposit boomswitch, and haven't cashed out since October or so. FTP, FU.




Edit: just check up2date ftp stats and am now 7000bb under ev last 53k hands, 98% cap/shallow tables.

ugh i hate how the games are now though, play stupid simple SS tables with all the fish or feel like i am playing poker and play with all the regs.

just finished awesome session live, won exactly 10k in a 5/5 plo game.
played 10 hours, won a 4.5k and an 11k pot off same guy. the 11k pot was a fun:

I have 5200ish villain covers
Three limps, I make it 35 with AA102, button reraises to 135, three ppl coldcall, i pot it to 780 total everyone folds to villain who calls OOP.

Flop comes good: 9 4 2 I pot it for something like 1960 he calls after about 30 secs deliberation.

turn is a K: He shoves I call.
He isnt one to always to business so when i tell him my hand and he asks to run it 3 times im pretty happy about the spot.
River 1: 9
River 2: 9
River 3: 6c

I scoop the pot. He doesnt show but i doubt i was behind on the flop or turn.

Sick if he had like K4, though.

Pretty results oriented comment. Hero doesn't know that the other three in the pot will fold and villain will call and he doesn't give their stack sizes. If a 1500 stack shoves after we 4-bet then we suddenly look like a genius...

I dont think so, not saying this is standard, but i was pretty sure it wasnt going three way or more pre, and me and villain were only ppl this deep no one else had 2500 even. Two of the other players had stacks big enough to gamble and reopen the betting with a 5bet and get it heads up with some dead money out there.

Additionally I have played a ton with this villain and am comfortable playing this big a pot in position even if he knows two of my cards. he just isnt making me fold enough incorrectly postflop to make this unprofitable.

meant to pipe in earlier but those stack sizes i still 4b in an online game. in a live game i think it is even better with the slower style of a live game where they are a lot less likely to make you fold incorrectly. well played i think. also if you dont have AAxx in your 4b range here...?
