I have heard of these apps from buddies who do play them, but I've never played them. I don't know if you deposit actual cash or what, but I do play on some online home games in the USA which regularly run up to T20 plo and are all based on credit backed by bookies. As for getting paid etc, guess you just gotta go through a guy whose willing to back your wins for the rake.

Any plausible theory as to why they do this? I've experienced this in Vegas a bunch but never understood why.

The counter argument is that poker floor managers tend to be the dumbest people in the casino and I've been in great games at peak hours that wound up breaking. Also live poker is the entertainment and customer service industry and if you know the fun players want a full table it makes their lives easier to hassle the floor for them.

I do this when a fish is next up on the list. Most floor guys are really good about filling the seat for fish super fast.

I got several PM's inviting me to games as soon as I made the post. It seems like a stretch to get into games across continents organised by people you know nothing about.

Ill recommend EVERYONE to stop playing on the chinese site PokerMaster that everyone is talking about.

I guess the NL and HU games arent that bad but ive never seen so much cheating as in the ring PLO games. Ive played for 1,5-2 months and logged SO many sessions on 50/100 - 200/400 and the amount of times:

- ppl have warned me at the tbls
- I have seen players that allways raise, limp so they could catch 1-2 players in the middle with a min raising war and the other player would fold of after giving the player with AA the option to 6-7-8bet pot it
- 2-3 players that would insta join tbls when an unknow joined and then when he left they would snap leave and continue to "spectace" the tbl and then snap join again
- Ive noted at least 20 players that only plays when they both have a seat and allways would squezze ppl out and pre/post
- Several of my friends have diffrent ppl that have "connected" them to the chinese sites and pokermaster and they have all got warnings that they should NOT play the ringgames as there was alot of cheating there
- I did not get that warning and ive only lost a little and therefor can help others now hopefully


And just to put it into perspective, the games in there are HUGE (also therefore there are so much cheating)

On the 200/400 games you buyin from 40.000-200.000 ( 5.500$- 28.000$) pr tbl.

Its quite easy, I and several others that are big winners on stars/eur sites have all logged many thousands hands in these games, all have the same idea and all have been loosing. You are able to win in the HU and also the NL ring games I would think as cardsharing dosent do as much there, but DO NOT play PLO ring games on there as if u play the higher stakes you will allmost allways have 2-4 cheaters at ure table and the site does nothing to police this.

Its quite fun as u will have fish colluding as well, ive seen several times 2-3 players all playing like 50/10 over big samples and only play the same tbls, and even though they obv are pretty bad its still hard to win when there are like 2-3 in the pot of them postflop and they know 12 holecards.

I have no idea about the smaller games 10/20/20/40 etc, and its prob less there, but you still should not play on there.
