Hey guys, got a question about Plo showdown to those dealers here or those who know the rules really well.
Winning hand, player shows the 2 relevant cards and throws the other 2 face down near him.
How do you treat this?
Tell him to show all 4 cards? Treat this as a mucked hand and chop the pot?
Saw this situation a few times and never know hot to approach this.

Explain that the player needs to show all 4 to claim the pot, treating this as a muck would be horrible

Depends on the rules of the game. At your average home game the 2 winning cards is enough to claim the pot but most casinos expect you to table all 4 cards. Trying to claim an opponent's hand is dead if he only shows 2 feels kinda scummy to me. If I'm shown the 2 cards it's enough for me to secede the pot, but if the table rules are to show all 4 I'll still ask to be shown them all for the information at least.

I played the PLO game at Wynn Macau this weekend and their rule is you have to show all 4.

I was a dealer for a long time... Just politely tell him that he needs to expose all 4 cards for you to be able to read his hand properly.

What are you trying to accomplish? The dealer should be dictating the flow of the game. Either ask the dealer to address this or ask the player if they're mucking their hand.
