I want to set up a squares where its just the scoreline at the end of each game that matters. When im not feeling lazy ill write it up, but its basically complete neutral ev and you have a sweat in every game. Just wanna gauge an interest list and how much $ people are wanting. It'll be capped at 16.

Ok from my count we have 3 or 4 people pushing for totally random and a couple strongly for seeding. This is gonna be a clusterfk if we don't get it sorted soon. We're never gonna get everyone to agree on every little rule so I propose the rules to be as following.

Totally random draw done on random.org by a volunteer (I'm happy to do it) with at least 3 other bettors watching over teamviewer. Time to be announced so anyone gambling can watch the draw if they want.

Scoring is 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw. In knockout stages it is 3 for advancing and nothing for losing.

Payouts are 70%/30% with less than 12 and 50%/30%/20% with more than 12

Last time to join is the 6th and we have the draw on the 7th so get sending if you want in

Obv some people are not gonna like this but then there is plenty of time for a refund before we start. Most people don't really care and just want to gamble on something!

If anyone is particularly annoyed that I've posted what I think it should be then come up with an alternative set asap and we'll put up a poll and get bettors to vote between the 2. Otherwise let's just stop negotiating and get the neutral ev gambling on the go!

I'd prefer the one where everybody gets four teams from the four groups to keep it interesting for moar people till the finals.

Put all 16 teams in a list, go through the bettors alphabetically and randomise the list for each bettor, top 4 teams on the list are the ones they get. Post results here. Simple.

Ok so looks like we're a go barring the other 5 or 6 bettors coming in and hating it. If we aim to draw on Thursday night can at least 2 or 3 commit to watching the draw? Say 6 or 7pm server time?
