its easier if you play win = 1 point everything else is 0 points.
its most fun if you play it with 4 people but maybe thats just me. if like someone suggested somebody gets spain, ger, holland, x then its not really fun to sweat.
I think it should be total random, this is why;
For instance if you have Germany and Holland. They play in the same poule (with Portugal) so you have a fair change that one of your teams get eliminated. In poule A if you hit a team like Russia in a really easy poule they will provide you alot of points.
Of course it is still an advantage to have holland and germany over random teams, but that is the gamble?
To make it more a sweat, we could give minus points for a red card, so even if your team is in the final it can cost you -1? (as an example)
Don't want to make to many rules, but red card doesn't seem that hard.

Why are people against seeding? If it isn't seeded there will be several people who are pretty much drawing dead before the tournament has started. It's pretty ****ty being one of those guys.

As explained above, just go random and be done with it. Euros are often wide open, Greece won it ffs!
the top 4 teams should be seeded. Germany, Spain, Holland and France so no one gets more than one of those teams and then the rest of the teams can still be random.
The fact that those 4 teams(apart from one group game) can avoid each other til the semis means anyone with 2 of those teams can dominate over people with 1 or 0 imo. They would basically be guaranteed a team in the final.
Above just explains why not seeding isn't terrible. It doesn't explain why not seeding is better than seeding. A top team wins the vast majority of the time. Greece winning was a freak.
Seeding is for girls. We wanted to sweat and gamboooool! I'll just ship to Roy now for whatever the deal is, but definitely favoring 4 absolutely random Teams. France sucks anyways, I'd take any other Team over them in a heartbeat(Ok, not Greece)
