Defending 3B Pots Defending 3B Pots

I've been practicing my PLO game on WSOP (typically mix player) 1-2 and 2-4 and have noticed that my biggest weakness seems to be defending in 3b pots. Can't really post HH because it's WSOP, but was wondering if anyone has any particular advice or good resources for this facet of my game.
Thanks :-)

erm you need to be more clear. Do you mean calling a 3bet preflop? or generally postflop game in 3betpots?
depends on so many things.
position, stacksize, villain, closing action?, sometimes your actual hand is relevant as well.

Yes. Forget that stupid 3-bet term. Give everyone finger and start play pots.

It's not usually a mistake to fold to 3bets preflop (heads up pots) because of how close equities run in PLO, so in a general sense the losses come from making mistakes post flop at lower SPR situations. You can exploitatively make preflop raise/ folds but that depends on your opponents and how tight their 3betting ranges are.

Main point: mistakes are being made post flop so you should start there.

at the tables i consider as tough - there will be almost always 3bet from LP to "buy button" given the importance of position initiative in this game

if it s not a game as I described - eg deep and gamblish, then select ur hands pre sufficiently to handle 3bet .

otherwise in the game i described 3bet is stamdard raise as any

To answer a couple of these:
By "defending" I meant when I open and the "attacker" 3b me
SolarAU I am aware that my issues are postflop. I'm looking for resources to help in that area

limp call?

at some tables 3bet is systematique (I recently saw a game where 3bet are there half of orbit or at least 2-3 over 8 hands in an orbit)

imo in the end it s the same play at those tables : the limit just raised (as if there is straddle , at the same time usually at those table there is straddle already) standard omaha and consider 3bet price as standard raise price

however in a tighter table/lower limit where 3bet are premiums only - just fold oops HU and call IP?

If people are playing their position strongly (as they should), then the correct adjustment is to tighten your ranges and attempt to play smaller pots when OOP.

So, limp/call more and tighten up your playable hand ranges.
