posted it in pokerstrategy feedback forums as well, they are a huge affiliate and both FL and PLO are high rake games hope they can fix it

I talked to a guy who works at the back office on one of the sites and he says it's an update gone wrong. At least that is what MG is telling the sites. They also got rid of NL100 and NL400 so I'm pretty sure it wasn't intentional.

God I hate pokerstars VIP program so bad.

Unless you go to war or black friday, they won't let you take a "year off" supernova elite for a "health" problem. Strict policy my a$$. After 4 years of SNE, you can't get a life break to recover for surgery/depression/car accident and what not. Why don't you guys have a ****ing flat rate like everywhere else so that we don't feel cheated when something big comes up in our life. Dumbos

Anyone know how to get rid of the HUD black box on HEM1 that shows who won the last 3 hands and the size of the pot?

in hud options set amount of last hand winners to 0

speaking of SNE, anyone care to share experiences of achieving it via midstakes plo? Time commitments required, impact it had on your non poker life, tips for not going insane, whether you feel it helped or hindered development of your overall game/hourly rate, whether you think it was ultimately worth it, whether you'll do it again etc.

If your a full time pro and used to multitable, i don't think its that hard. Thoughest part is keeping your volume when your loosing and rather take a week off. 2 advises
- set very detailed goals that lead to 1 million. Like select (or assum) some holidays, set a daily vpp goal for a weekend and non-weekend day. And archive your progress relative to the goal. This really motivates me to try to outpace my goal.
- play every (most off) the days. Playing 2 hours on weekends and 5 on non-weekends, is so much more easy, compared to 0 at weekends and 6 on non-weekend,

40 work weeks aka 280 work days is what I use to calculate my first SNE run (2009), on midstakes. This is roughly 3 months of free days you can spend on holidays and whatever during the year, but I would really advice you to be ahead or at least on pace when January end so you dont have to catch up the rest of the year since its more stressing.

~3600 vpp average on those days.

It made me organize things bether (and obvs around SNE).

Get a good break for the late part of December so your motivated and ready for the SNE run.

HUD Options --> Player Preferences --> Appearance --> Number of pots: No.

And also uncheck the box that's something like average pot size for the table.
