I can find a fold on river ( I guess...choke, gurgle, choke ) but I would have shoveled money into pot on turn.

rarely folding - think about what your hand looks like not what you think he has.

the few times i'd fold would be based solely on his river bet sizing and how that matched up with what i'd seen of him to date.

i also think you played it good and getting it in on turn is a mistake.

i just reread description and if "not aggressive postflop" is code for enormous nit nut peddler, then sure you can fold.

I think we make more money the way you played it if villain may fold to a raise on the turn.

Just another spot where the more difficult decisions may net us the most profit vs. getting it in on the turn and running out the cards.

i think raising turn is a mistake (we just get called by stronger hands such as a bigger set) and I think folding river is fine. Im not really sure what sort of hand villain would be bluffing on the river and I dont think he value bets weaker hands. Villain raised UTG and we have the A

so he cant have the nut flush draw. This makes it *highly* likely he has KKxx/QQxx and is going for value the whole way.

he could be firing kq for value. it would suck if he has straight, but i don't think he has qq/kk. I think he bets more on turn/river with qq/kk.

I don't mind flatting turn, your set is disguised and looks like you are chasing diamonds. He may think you have k and 2 diamonds so he bets two pair maybe.

I would call pretty quickly here. A normal player would definitely put your range towards a draw, therefore why would he need to bet so much on the river with a big set. Usually its a value bet here

Seems like one of those game theory must-calls. I wouldn't expect to be good 75% of the time but you're definitely good often enough to profit from a call.
