Hi everybody,

I am quite the plo beginner. I play mostly nl and understand basics.

5/5/t plo 9 handed. 2 limps, I raise to 55 from first sb, with AAJJ, the bb calls and btn calls. I dont think i had any suits.

Flop (180?) T65 with two diamonds. I have no diamonds.

Is this a check fold against sticky aggro players?

I have about 1600 to start hand and villains cover.

Yes this is a cf and you probably shouldn't raise preflop without at least one suit

Consider practicing at lower stakes online if you are new to the game.

I'm def raising this hand even without suits.

No, you were correct to raise, and you should be 3-betting if someone raised before you, not just calling to set/straight mine. Not with AAJJ.

Agree with above poster. You are fine to raise or 3 bet this hand. Obviously having at least one suit is preferred but not required. That's a pretty bad flop for your hand. Depending on your reads on the other players, CF is fine or you can CBet but be prepared to shut down after that. On the bright side, if you were to hit an A or J on the turn it could still be the nuts barring a diamond.

also considering how deep you are, i would look to continue vs some bets if you have Ad

open pre is way standard. c/f c/c or b/f all have merit vs certain lineups. I prob c/c against sticky aggro/thinking opponents w/ ad but c/f otherwise. Tight and loose passive games i usually b/f this for value/protection and don't expect to get played back at much but seems kinda rare in these spots nowadays.

I'm usually betting this hand and folding to a raise. If I check and it goes bet/raise or bet/call I'm folding but HU I'm calling.

This deep, I NEVER raise to pot from the blinds, I tend to have a smaller raise sizing since I am so likely to get called since everyone has position in me

Pre is definitely an open. Flop wise, if you're not gonna be comfortable making difficult decisions on future streets (especially if you're new), just check fold flop. If you have no diamonds, there are only 2 great turns for you. Hand can play somewhat differently if you had the Ace of diamonds.
