It really depends on your personal situation and how devastating losing your 6k roll would be. I understand what you mean when you say you'd rather shoot yourself; now that I've found PLO I'd rather pull my fingernails off with pliers than grind 1/2 NL for hours on end. There's certainly a chance you run well in the beginning and you never look back. If I had a second source of income I'd take the shot. If losing my roll meant I'd be living in a cardboard box or would have to get a full time job, I'd wait.

How did you get this 6k? I say take a shot, play your best and if you lose it just try to make another 6k instead of waiting till you have 12k
