600 PLO:160bbs deep with shorty near all in OOP

Shorty has $41 left and the pot on the flop is $210. Villain is pretty aggressive. I feel like ck jamming will never be a big mistake, but I feel like it lacks finesse (not sure what the right term is here). Maybe lead small?? The only read I have on villain is that he never bluff raises light, but can be induced to bet weak hands if ck'd to repeatedly, but that might be out the window with a short stack all in.

[converted_hand][hand_history]$3/$6 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

BB: $111 (18.5 bb)
BTN: $1,437.33 (239.6 bb)
CO: $1,593.61 (265.6 bb)
Hero (SB): $966.05 (161 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 8 J A
CO raises to $21, BTN folds, Hero raises to $69, BB calls $63, CO calls $48

Flop: ($207) Q J 8 (3 players)
Hero???

I'm not a huge PLO player and I'm not particularly good at it either. But I'd check and let the SS push then try and isolate him if the other villain calls.

You have a massive draw? IMO at least

The shorty in the BB isn't the one I'm concerned with. I'm concerned with how to put money in verse the guy who covers me. Sorry if I didn't put that in my original post.

Yeah I figured it was the the other bloke you were concerned about. Well if check then raise over the SS's shove.

fox, i hear you in terms of the c/mash option lacking finesse but it's really the only viable line here. you want to get as much $ in as you possibly can as early on in this hand as you can.

edit: your hand's equity is going to take a massive turn for the better or for the worse on the turn/river. either way the highest expectation play is to get as much $ in as possible on the flop.

check, so many good things can happen. Then make a raise after the good thing has happened.

Gonna go against popular opinion and say bet 120ish.

I don't forsee a check inducing more action from CO, he's just gonna flat the shorty's shove and fold to our (pretty damn strong) jam, as happened ^^

More likely to get him to come along with his dominated holdings with a bet I reckon.

And it's also a lot better for balancing the weaker parts of our range.

@CB

Don't we also need to have a c/r range so we are not always c/c or c/f when we check? This seems like a fine hand for that range imo.

Makes me wonder what would be best with the bare nut straight?

Re: 600 PLO:160bbs deep with shorty near all in OOP

I think bare nut straight is the best candidate for filling the c/r range, where even naked fd's have decent equity vs us.

OP's hand is one that we kind of really like a call with because we crush most of calling range. I think c/r is just too strong and we're gonna fold out too much that we have good implied odds vs.
