The game is 5/5 PLO $1000 max buy-in
Hero (covers) is a mid 20's white guy. My image might be kinda aggro at this point in the session, since I have been trying to ISO villain with AAxx/KKxx due to his very loose tendencies.
Villain (~$1000) is an Asian guy in his mid to late 20's. Villain is sort of a complete spazz some of the time, especially if he gets tilted. In previous sessions I have seen him raise pot pre, and pot the flop, without looking at his cards. This session he showed up and dumped 2k-3k in the first 20 minutes raising pot every hand pre, and usually continuing with any piece. He has since left the table for about 30 minutes and seems to have gathered himself. He has been playing significantly less spewy in the past 30 minutes.
Hero is dealt: 8
8
7
7
Pre-flop:
3 players limp including Villain in MP, Hero limps next to act, 1 other limp.
7 players see a flop
Flop ($35): J
8
6
One of the blinds leads for $25, 2 calls, Villain calls, Hero pots to $190, folds back to Villain who calls.
Turn (~$490): Q
Villain leads for $420, Hero...? Villain has about $400 behind after his bet
Obviously I'm not getting the correct price to boat otr, and I would also be drawing to a non-nut boat. I also hold two 7's and a diamond, blocking some of the lower straight draws/flush draws that Villain might try to bluff me with.
I'm pretty new to PLO, so not sure if this is standard spot or what... Any advice or comments are welcome, even things that may seem obvious. Thanks for the input.
